"Do you think we got enough?" Momma asks as we walk through Walmart with two full shopping carts.

She came over bright and early this morning in the mood to shop and we've been doing so all day. I'm exhausted.

"We have the bassinet, car seat, clothes, diapers, wipes, the bottles she said she's gonna use..." I name off things I see as I go through one of the shopping buggies.

"Bibs, blankets, burp clothes, and baby lotion." I finish before turning to the second basket she's standing behind.

"I think we got enough stuff for today. I'm tired of bein' in Walmart, momma." I complain and roll my eyes dramatically.

"Child, this is my first grandchild. I'm excited. Now if I wanna keep shopping for her, that's what we're gonna do. Now stop poking your lip out and let's get a few more outfits."

The sun is setting by the time we finish shopping. I'm past annoyed but momma made sure we ate so I can't complain about being hungry.
