Chapter Eighteen

I walked into room and took it all in. This is where I needed to be. I had my own dressing room, and let me tell you, it was nice. I had table of food, an amp to practice with, a huge wardrobe choice, and this amazing mirror with makeup I could only dream of having.

We did the run down of the show and went through the entire thing. It took about two hours, but Mikey said or would actually be about three hours when we did the real show. My stomach was doing flips and making my head pound, but I was so ready. This is what I have wanted since 4th grade.

*Knock knock knock*

"Can I come in?" I saw Madis head peek through the door and I nodded.

"This is all so surreal," She said while walking over and sitting in one of the bean bag chairs.

"I know. I remember being in 8th grade and sitting in social studies talking about being in a band. You know, when neither of cus could play an instrument and I wad tone death." I still kinda was.

"Those were the days" She sighed and I sat in the chair next to hers.

"I never thought we would make it this far. I mean I dreamed and dreamed this would happen and look at us. We are going to open for a world famous band in front of sooooop many people. You know, I'm glad I made it here with you. You're seriously my bestfriend Madi. You have been there for me through everything. I mean hell! You know everything about me." It was all true. She was and is my bestfriend, I wouldn't be here without her.

"You are too Hay. I knew we would make it tho. We both have the drive and the want to make it this far. Although I never thought I would be falling for one of the band members I'll tell you that" It was good to hear her say that, she was always so scared of falling, because the last guy that was supposed to catch her pushed her instead.

I grabbed her hand and stood up taking her with me. I pulled her in for a hug and said, "Mads, we finally made it. I wouldn't pick anyone else to go on this journey with me" She squeezed me a little tighter and pulled away.

"Ditto babes" I smiled. "Well, I'm gonna head back to my dressing room cus the lady doing my makeup is getting there soon so let's hope I don't look stupid! I'm just glad we can pick our own clothes, well our own clothes out of the choice we are given" she laughed and walked to the door.

"Don't pick anything girly okay!" She gave a 'duh' look and laughed.

"Yeah. Cus I'm ohhhh so girly" I laughed and so did she as she walked out of my dressing room.

I walked over to the wardrobe choices and got to work. I ended up picking out a black crop top, some white wash shorts, combat boots, and some bracelets and necklaces.

Soon after I got dress a makeup person came in and did my makeup. Then someone else came in to do my hair. Then another knock was heard on my door.

"Hey" I saw Jessicas pink hair bop into my room.

She had on a cute shirt that said, 'The skeletons in our closets should makeout', a pair of shorts, reallyyyyy cute muti-colored combat boots, and a stud bracelet with a choker.

"Hey hun! You look amazing" She really did.

A blush ment her face, "Thanks. I don't look as good as you, but thank you" I smiled and stood up from my bean bag chair pulling out my Iphone 5c.

"Let's take a picture. I don't want to miss a second of this!" She smiled and walked over putting her arm around my shoulder.

I wrapped my arm around hers and took about 10 pictures of us. Some with duck face, some with kisses on the cheek, and some just smiling.

"So how are you feeling hun" I asked, I was hoping I wasn't the only one having an internal panic attack.

"I'm really nervous. I was shaking really bad earlier, but I took a Zanex and I calmed down." That was good. I wasn't the only one popping pills to calm down either.

"Me too. Without my little life savers I would be in a full on panic attack." I smirked and walked over to my bag. I pulled out a joint and my lighter walking back over to Jess. "This is also my life saver. Wanna share?" Her eyes got wide and a smiled tinted her lips.

"You're seriously amazing" I laughed and lit it up taking a hit and passing it to Jess.

"Do you smoke alot?" I asked out of curiosity. She didn't seem like the type.

She took a hit while nodding her head. "I started back in 8th grade" Ha. Same as me.

She passed it back and we heard knock at the door. I giggled and said, "Come innnn"

Madi popped in with Ryan following behind. Shit. Madi gave me a death glare and Ryan walked over grabbing the joint and taking a hit. Madi crossed her arms and looked at the three of us.

"Hayden I take it this is your idea" I smiled and nodded.

"Maybe you should partake babes. It seriously calms the nerves" I said taking the joint from Ryan and inhaling the good shit.

"Hayden. Why must you always look so convicing" At first I thought she was being sarcastic, but she held out her hand and I handed her the joint.

She put it to her lips and took a hit. I think Ryan and I had a heart attack together, because this was not a Madi move at all. I started dying of laughter as she started coughing and passed the joint back.

"Alright guys!" I said while passing the joint to Jess, "Let's go kick some fucking ass!!!!!!" They all cheered and we finished off the joint before walking to the back stage to find the boys waiting.

Lukes POV

My eyes fell straight to Madi. She and Hayden were walking side by side with their arms around eachothwr laughing uncontrollably.

I walked up to her and asked them both, "What's so funny girls?" Madi looked at me and just fell into more laughter.

She was so cute. She had on a tank top that said, 'Over my dead body', adorable little shorts that showed off her amazing legs, superman combat boots, and-, SHE HAS ON SUPERMAN COMBAT BOOTS!? I don't know how I didnt propose to this woman right there. Maybe it was the 'special brownie' Mikey gave me talking, but I was falling for this girl.

"You guys look great! I can't wait to see you preform!" Mikey said from behind me. I nodded in agreement and Madi came running at me. Before I knew it I was being jumped on by a very beautiful girl.

"Lukey! Oh I missed you!" She hugged me while I was holding her up. Oh. She was high to.

"I missed you too Mads" She hopped down and poked my chest.

"We are gonna be so amazing and you don't know how happy I am that we are opening for you!" I laughed at her obnoxiousness.

"You guys definitely will be awesome!" I leaned down and kissed her cheek. "You're on in 15, better get ready" she ran off with Hayden to the set up, but not before giving me a hug. This tour will be amazing!

This chapter made no sense. Handbags XD. But you know what as the author I reserve the right to be allllllllllll over the place!!! I love you sexy people of the wattpad world!
