Chapter Seven

Madi's POV

I woke up to the very pungent scent of spray paint. I propped myself up on my elbows and looked to see Hayden with a medical mask on and a spray paint can in her hand.

She looked over and pulled her mask down smiling. "Morning sunshine!" I gave her a wtf look and she pointed at her work. She had painted the word dreams surrounded by clouds and music notes.

"Looks good, but I prefer not to be woken up by the smell of spray paint fumes, just saying." She just laughed and shrugged her shoulders.

"Sorry, I haven't slept all night. I started working on this around two, after you feel asleep. After meeting him last night and getting his number! How could anyone sleep!" I shook my head and laughed. She was such a geek.

I had never really got into the band, but I had heard them a few times while in the car with Hayden. Apparently they opened for One Direction, but still, I wasn't really into them anymore anyway.

Hayden had gone back to painting, so I decided to get up. Both her parents were working so I walked to the bathroom to see my makeup smeared face.

I looked in the mirror and holy shit! I was a wreck. I laughed at how much makeup was smeared. How I managed to get eyeliner on my chin is beyond me. I grabbed Hayden's makeup wipes and put my hair into a messy bun.

After cleaning my face I walked back to Haydens room to see her putting the art supplies away.

"Did you finish it?" I peeked at it and it looked really good.

"I am turning it into a galaxy back ground but the word is finished." I nodded then grabbed my bag serving for clothes to wear.

I pulled out my All Time Low band tee and slipped it over my tank top. Then I pulled out shorts.

"I'm gonna go change in the bathroom" She nodded and plugged in her Ipod. Rejects by 5sos blasted through the house and I rolled my eyes and walked back into the bathroom.

Hayden's POV

I walked to my walk in closet and turned on the light shutting the door behind me. I looked at my wall of shoes and picked out my black vans, then grabbed a pair of socks. I set those aside and went to my band tee drawer. I looked through them until I found my favorite black veil brides tee. I paired that with white washed jeans that had rips all through them.

I out everything on then walked out and looked at myself in the mirror. Earlier I had straightened my hair and put on makeup, so I just had to go over my eyeliner one last time.

The finished product looked ok so I posted a selfie to instagram. I turned to face Madi when she walked in the room and gave her a thumbs up on her outfit. She smiled and walked to my bed sitting down and checking her phone.

"Nice insta Hay," she said a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

"Hey! A selfie a day keeps the boys away, at least when it comes to my face" she just shook her head and laughed slightly.

"It's ok a selfie a day keeps everyone from me" I just shook my head and smiled.

"So..should I?" I asked Madi.

"Should you what?"

"You know...text him?" I was being a major dork and I knew it, but for some reason I just couldn't text him.

I mean...he is like my super star crush. You know the one person you know you will never be with, but you dream about it anyway? Yea. He is like that.

"Yea sure. Dude this is a great opportunity for us!" I nodded.

She was right and I knew it. I grabbed my phone and pulled up his number. I clicked on message and typed up a short and simple message.

'Hey, um uh, yea hey so um I just figured I should uh text you ig..'

I. Am. So. Fucking. Stupid!

Before I read it through I already hit send. I am a true dumb ass.

I ran a hand through my hair and looked over at Madi.

"Lets go to the waterfall. I could use a change of scenery" she thought it over then nodded.

"That is actually a great idea. We haven't been to the waterfall in forever"

"Alright get ready and we will head out" she nodded and grabbed her lucky pick off my nightstand and stood up.

"If we are just going to the water fall I'm ready." I looked in the mirror again. I was just a bit over dressed.

"I'm gonna go change into something more waterfall appropriate" She nodded and sat back down.

I waked into my closet and put my clothes back and put on a crop top and short shorts. I grabbed some flip flops and walked back out of my closet.

"Ready" I flipped my head over and put it into a messy bun.

"Ready" we walked down stairs and out to the car, locking the door behind us.

We pulled up to the park and got our of the car. After the hour long drive it was nice to get out. I stretched my arms out and looked at Madi.

"Ready to go?" She nodded and we started walking back.

I took out my phone and started taking pictures of the trees until wegot to the pipe we had to cross. I couldn't take oictures on here, I had a hard enough time getting across it, I cant take pictures at the same time. We walked the three minute trail in silence enjoying the weather and nature.

"Calm on, just step in the water, it is like one inch deep," I rolled my eyes. She was being a baby about this!

"Ugh! Fine" she finally stepped in and threw her leg over the wall.

"That must have been torture!" I said in my most sarcastic voice.

"Not for me...just for my poor shoes"

I ripped my eyes and opened my book bag taking our some spray paint.

"Really?" I looked at Madi as if she was kidding.

"When do I not?" She shook her head and chuckled.

I started spray painting and Madi took out her camera and started taking pictures. We spent most of the day there just enjoying being outside.

Kind of a filler but that waterfall place is real and it is beautiful XD. Like it is the best place to take pictures and write and sing and stuff XD
