Chapter Twenty-One

I was practically pulling Micheal off the bus. I was not a fan of tour buses. We were finally in New York after what felt like forever. I loved doing shows and seeing all the people, don't get me wrong, but it gets very tiring, and I've wanted to come to New York for a long time.

"Excited much?" Micheal chuckled as I dragged him down the sidewalk.

"You have no idea how long I've waited to come here!" It was true, when I was younger I put up pictures of New York around my room.

"Well love, we are here now, and we will be new for about a week!"

"So you're telling me I'll get to sleep on an actual bed!!" He nodded and I jumped up and down right there on the sidewalk. That was until I heard a fateful scream.

"OH MY GOD! THAT'S MICHEAL CLIFFORD!!"

The next thing I knew, about 15 girls were crowding around Mikey. I squirmed as I slowly got pushed to the back, then put of the small circle which was attracting more people. He was signing things left and right and taking pictures. I sighed and walked away, Madi must be around here somewhere, right?

Madi's POV

"Luke! When did I say I was faster than you. I never said that!" I said while I was arguing with Luke about racing down the sidewalk.

"Yes you did I know you! So I must race you and prove you wrong little miss!" He said while poking my dimple making me blush.

"Fine, but I tell you, I will win this, and I don't want to here you whining." He smirked and got into position to run.

"Bet you $20 I win." I smirked and shook his hand.

"Bet." I got into position.

"On your mark"

"Get set"

"Go!"

We both bolted down the sidewalk and he was pulling ahead. What he didn't know was I had been in track since 5th grade and knew exactly how to win a race. As the stop sign we were racing to got closer, I picked up my slack and sprinted ahead of Lukes, slapping the stop sign and jumping up and down.

"Ha! I WIN! You lose Lukey poo!"

"Noooooooooo! You cheated! YOU CHEATER!"

"I did no such thing!" I said smirking and catching my breath.

"I don't care what you say I know for a FACT you cheated!" He walked over to me and picked me up by my waist throwing me over his shoulder.

I punched his back and kicked my feet. "Luke this is so not fair! What the hell!" I kept yelling until I saw Hayden walking over us.

"Hey Hay!" Luke said still carrying me.

"Hey Luke...ummm." She pointed at me and he laughed.

"She cheated and I don't tolerate cheating. Plain and simple"

"I did no such thing! I beat him in a race and he got all huffy" I said matter-of-factly.

"Well duh you were in track since 5th grade you're obviously going to win" She said and Luke stopped laughing.

"Are you kidding me! Now I owe you 20 dollars and you didn't metion you were a pro!?" I smirked and he set me down, muttering under his breath.

I turned to Hayden who didn't look so happy. "What's wrong hun?" I asked, walking over to her and poking her cheek.

"Well, Mikey and I were walking and this one girl saw him and shouted his name and a bunch of girls crowded around him and I just kinda walked off...let him have his time or whatever" she sighed and I pulled her in for a hug.

"Hunnie he's famous, it happens" She nodded and pulled away.

"It happens to all of us, that's why I walked off with Madi. I didn't want to be on the main sidewalk." Luke stated from behind me. "Although, I wouldn't be out 20 dollars if I would have stayed on the main sidewalk." I laughed and turned back to Hayden.

"Come on cheer up butter cup. Look! Micheal is right there!" I said pointing behind her as Mikey came running up.

I walked over to Luke and started talking with him, giving the two some space.

Haydens POV

I saw Micheal running and wanted to cry. I'm just a very jealous person and I don't think I was mad at him, I was just having a hard time processing that a bunch of girls were surrounding him.

He immediately ran up and pulled me into a hug.

"Hayden oh my god! I didn't know where you were I started freaking out. A bunch of girls were surrounding me and I was just looking for you and you weren't there and...don't ever do that again I was worried sick" He was still hugging me and stroking my hair. He kissed my forehead and pulled back waiting for a response.

"I'm sorry you were just surrounded by all those girls and I just...I got jealous." He looked down at me and laughed. Are you kidding me?

"Hayden, babygirl, you don't need to be jealous. Why would I do anything to lose you?" He leaned down slowly and kissed me softly. It was the sweetest kiss I had ever had.

I'm not even gonna say anything...I know you all hate me..
