9:17pm- So I have a job interview on Wednesday, hopefully it goes well cz I really need a job (especially one I'd enjoy). Also, my sister found out that our parents own the townhouse we live in and have been making her pay rent to live in it, now we're motivated to save enough money to put a down payment on a house of our own far away from our parents and possibly change our numbers too. Disconnect and out some distance, my sister thought about leaving the country but since I'm not vaccinated I likely won't be able to; which is fine by me, I'll live in the wilderness.

I finally found the name of this one plant I've been seeing year-round and I learned that the young leaves can be eaten raw and cooked like spinach, it's also medicinal so it'll be added to my herbal medicine bag. I love that it's everywhere by the river; now when I get hungry, I can pluck some, wash them off a bit and chow down with some turkey tail mushrooms that may likely be frozen lol. A friend of mine is gonna get me a metal bushcraft canteen for my birthday since I want all my bugout bags to have generally the same gear so I'm not at a loss no matter which one I grab. I do have a canteen already but it's plastic so I can't expose it to open flame or anything that's super hot.
