So yesterday we had company over (mom, dad, brother, uncle and friend on my nephew's father's side), had the neighbor and her son ever for a bit as well. I woke up starving but because mom was there, I was too anxious to satisfy my hunger so I didn't eat as much as I wanted to. On the bright side, I got most of what I asked for (didn't get the ankle boots I wanted and I didn't get a leather backpack for my nature adventures but I did get a backpack that has a draw string closure. My brother got me a glow-in-the-dark wolf necklace that's in the shape of a heart (It shows a howling wolf). My sister got me knee-high black leather boots that have 2 pockets each and made me say "I am not an assassin" and "I am not a Russian spy" because those boots apparently looked like it lol. My parents also gifted me $500 in the bank cz ya'know, I'm a broke bitch. Oh and my sister gave me $140 cash in my stocking. The wolf puzzle my brother also got me took 3 hours for me to finish (the pieces were shaped like animals, plants and blobs and there was an explosion of rainbow colors to figure out). I should've asked for a new phone tbh, my current ones is old and craps out on me every so often, plus it would've been nice to get a new cover as well. The faux leather leggings I got fit perfects at the legs but it was meant to be low-rise (ended up being high waisted instead) but it still works. Had eyes on me as I wore them today since they aren't something you typically see in these parts lol. Mom didn't notice my green hair until we stepped outside yesterday while my nephew was down for a nap (that's how bad the lighting is in my sister's house. Dad also made a joke about me getting him hot cocoa since i was considered the host, then mom said "she's not the host, she's a bystander that lives here" then mom tried to get on my good side by telling me their house is still my house as if that'll change how I see her now. According to my dad, the stuff I left behind in my moving was really cool and he was surprised I'd want to get rid of any of it. If the PS4 if among the things, I consider that garbage because 1) im not a gamer and 2) my jerk of an ex is the only reason I wasted $300 on that machine (he wanted to make me a gamer like him) then there's the VR headset gaming system my dad got me years ago because he saw the PS4 -_-.
Then we transitioned to my nephew's Birthday since he was born Christmas of 2019. He tried to bite into the cake as if it was meant to be eaten in 1 piece lol and it was a Mickey Mouse themed cake so you know he got red all over his face (and feet). He had so many gifts all together that he lost interest in opening the remaining gifts. Towards the end of the celebration and gift opening, my parents started making heir way to the door and mom said "glad we're leaving this here" (referring to the mess of wrapping paper, gifts bags and tissue paper)
Besides the anxiety, it was an over-all good day
