"A sleepover?" Marlene asked with an expression of disbelief to which Alice and Lily nodded in unison.

"I couldn't believe it either but those four idiots have a plan," Alice claimed. "And a very good one at that!" She added.

"It's simple, Shacklebolt, who shares the dorm with the boys has to go somewhere with Dumbledore in ministry business. Frank Longbottom would be going too, however, aside from that, with Shacklebolt gone it means the room is—"

"Empty!" Marlene completed with realization dawning on her face.

"Now that's only Step-1. The boys have a camping bag for some reason, they've refused to tell us why but nonetheless, all that matters is that they have sleeping bags which are these muggle contraptions that fold out to allow a person to get in them and sleep, therefore this means that the sleeping arrangements are—"

"Done!" Marlene completed again, displaying a huge grin.

"But we're pulling an all-nighter." Lily added.

"Can I ask why this wasn't explained to me through the boys though? I like special treatment..."

"They've gone on a quest to get food. You can't have a sleepover without food!" Alice filled in.

"Understandable," Marlene nodded, "Now are you idiots gonna stand here or will we get started?" She asked with a laugh.

Lily Evans was learning new things everyday, she learnt about secret passageways, she learnt about the hidden kitchens, she learnt that she might be irrationally forming a bond with James Potter however, the most shocking discovery till now, was how long it would take to plan a sleepover. After around four hours that were spent tidying up the boys dorm, hitting James on the head with a tattered book, arranging the food, hitting James on the head with a tattered book and finally lining the floor of the room with sleeping bags.

After all the hard work, the 7 turned to each other and surveyed their saddening states. Alice and Marlene looked fine because the two had gone to see off Shacklebolt and Longbottom. Peter was sprawled on the floor, Sirius and Remus were comfortably sitting on their beds as Remus taught Sirius French. Finally, James was standing alongside Lily checking and double-checking everything for tonight. Both if their shirts were untucked and James was furrowing his eyebrows in concentration which honestly looked so cute, but she would never in a gazillion light years tell him that.

"Looks like we're done." James said with an adorable grin on his face.

Lily- "We are. We just have to change into our night robes and THEN the fun can begin." Lily told him with a grin adorning her face too.

The girls headed to their dorm to change while the boys were fighting over who gets to go to the bathroom first. When they were out of earshot of the marauders, Alice interrupted the silence.

"You were sooo checking out Potter..." Alice said nonchalantly, but it didn't escape Lily's notice.

"I was not!"

"You so were!" Marlene accused.

"Ahh! How's Lily Evans going to go through the night without thinking of Potter and his beautiful messy hair!" Alice said, doing vague dramatic hand gestures.

"Oh Alice! Let's not forget the little kiss you gave Longbottom before he left. That seemed kind of," Marlene stopped for dramatic effect. "Suspicious." She added in a low tone.

"Noo! Frank Longbottom, fellow chaser on the Gryffindor quidditch team, responsible student with a knack for scoring well." Lily looked around getting ready to run because she well enough knew the consequences of the words she was about to say next. "Well, sounds like a match made in heaven for you Alice." And she ran, with Alice closely following on her heels.

"I'm going to get you, and when I do I swear I'll poke my wand in your eyes and explode them from inside." Alice looked homicidal while Marlene held her back laughing.

James stepped out from the boys dorm in his red plaid pajamas that was decorated with Gryffindor pride. And he eyed the three girls.

"Can you kill her after the sleepover?" James asked with a confused expression.

"Why the hell not? I will kill her after." Alice said, calming down.

"Good, can you all change now so we can begin?!" James asked, disappearing in the dormitory.

The girls changed and headed towards the boys dorm to find the 4 of them sitting around numerous bottles of fire whiskey, with grinch-like grins.

"Oh no..." Lily said looking worried.

"It's on the list! Therefore an alternate answer would be," he paused for dramatic affect and a maniac grin took over his facial features. "oh yes."
