Bella's sleepiness immediately disappeared after hearing those words from Alice and she looked between her sister and Jasper in disbelief with Jasper nodding at her, confirming Alice's words.

"You did it" She couldn't help but stare at Jasper in gratitude.

He gave her a brilliant answering smile which made her heart stutter and Bella felt her cheeks flush in embarrassment with the knowledge that she was standing in front of her sister, who was Jasper's mate.

"It helped that you had the name and the exact location already pinpointed so all we just needed to do was to match your description. So, how are you going to do this?" Jasper asked curiously.

Bella frowned after composing herself while biting her lower lip in thought. "Not sure yet but what I am sure is that I need to find a way to get there and speak with her." She was already thinking about the long flight ahead and how she was going to get to Pittsburgh in such short notice. Not to mention, where was she going to stay? She could probably ask Alice for help since she's used to that stuff, but she wasn't sure how to ask.

"Good, because I already have our tickets booked. We'll be leaving in three hours so you better get ready" Alice cut off her musing and she couldn't help but stare at her sister in awe. Just when she thought it was going to be difficult for her, Alice was one step ahead.

"Alice! You're a life saver!" she hugged her while Alice giggled and hugged her back but then Bella leaned away from her with her brows furrowed.

"Wait, 'our' tickets?" she clarified.

"Oh, you didn't think that we were going to let you go on your own, did you? Jasper and I will be joining you silly"

"I can't ask that of you!"

"You don't have to... we're volunteering" Jasper responded.

"Yep, if you're going to be out there looking for a nomadic vampire that drinks human blood, you're going to need back up." Alice pointed out and as much as she didn't want to inconvenience any of them, her sister was right.

Even if Caleb had a human mate, he was still a human drinker. She didn't know if he has no qualms in killing anyone that was not related to his mate, and she didn't want to find out the hard way.

"Besides," Jasper added, "knowing who you are in another world and how important you are to another version of me... I want to make sure that no harm comes your way. He's not here to look out for you... so I'd like to be here for you instead... if you'll allow me"

Bella was at a loss for words and just stared at the man and she barely kept herself from jumping towards Jasper and hugging him tight. It was too much for her to know that this Jasper cared for her, maybe not the same way as her own mate does but knowing that he has her back and Alice too, she could not ask for more.

Alice turned to Jasper and squeezed his arm affectionately.

"You don't mind Alice?" Bella asked the vampire in front of her, in a small voice.

"Of course not! Jasper was the one who asked and if it was me, I'd probably do the same thing. You are important to him in your world and it's just right that he makes sure that you are taken cared of."

"Oh..." The pixie held her hand and gave it a soft squeeze.

"You said it yourself, we have no control with how our worlds work that our mates were swapped. Right now, what's important is for us to help you get back to your world so you can be with him. In the meantime, I don't mind sharing" she told her cheerily and Bella gasped in horror.

"Alice!" Bella flushed crimson and Alice laughed heartily.

"Kidding! Now go get ready, we'll be waiting for you downstairs." Alice pushed her back inside her room and closed the door, leaving Bella alone.
