"Clarke. You lied, and you're out of time."

Clarke had registered the words.

How couldn't she?

She just couldn't register the fact that she was about to die. "No— please, Lexa." Clarke pleaded.

Lexa glared at Clarke. The way her face showed nothing but fear. The way her eyes shone, an icy blue piercing into Lexa's eyes. She heard swords being unsheathed behind her.

"Your fight is over, Clarke Kom Skaikru." she spoke in Trigedasleng. Clarke's throat suddenly dry, she continued her stare at Lexa. She oddly wasn't scared to die. She was scared of her friends, for when they died.

Suddenly there was a sound. It sounded like a taser. No. Those batons the Ark guards used on people.

Clarke turned her gaze to her mother, seeing the older Griffin shocking Lincoln. Clarke audibly let out a sigh of relief at the sight. Her mother may have been as stubborn as she, but she was definitely smart.

Abby put little distance between herself and the reaper and sat in silence. The Commander had turned her gaze to Lincoln as well, waiting for something to happen.

Truth be told, Lexa didn't want to kill Clarke. Once again, she couldn't quite name why. Clarke was undoubtedly a leader. A decent one at that. It would've been an honest shame to have her killed, Lexa thought.

Lexa was broken out of her trance as she saw the reaper moving, gasping for air.

Octavia instantly moved to his side, holding his face in her hands. She too let out a sigh of relief, unable to hold back her grin.

Clarke wearily lifted her gaze back to the Commander. Lexa had already been looking back at Clarke, meeting her eyes. Lexa noticed Clarke's eyes and how they spoke of relief. Lexa assumed it was easy to read the blonde, as her eyes gave away everything. Every emotion. Perhaps that is what made Lexa take a liking to her. Not that she was easy to read, but that she was unafraid that she could be read.

"Clarke." Lexa broke the silence. "Come to my tent at this exact hour tomorrow. We may then discuss an alliance." Clarke nodded, almost forgetting to speak. "Thank you, Commander." Lexa nodded, turning around and exiting the ship.

Clarke looked back to her mother, a smile taking over both the Griffin's features.

Clarke was finally back at camp. Jaha. She scoffed. The name had no reason to bother her but it did. Well, it did have a reason to bother her.

She and a hundred other kids were sent down here with nothing and had to survive by themselves. Lab rats to see if the rest of the human race could come down. Then, of course, once the rest of the Ark came down, they immediately took control again, like it was back on the Ark. The same man that sentenced hundreds to death, had a camp named after him. People still followed him and that itself got Clarke's blood boiling.

"Clarke." a voice broke her thoughts. She looked up to find Bellamy. "Bellamy." she responded.

"You did good. You're getting to the Commander. We just need to get our people out of the mountain and then we can finally live how we want." Bellamy spoke, Clarke had a distaste for his smug voice.

"Nothing is final yet. Besides, there are still laws to follow, according to the grounders. We invaded them. We have the decency to respect them." Clarke argued, hating the way Bellamy was looking at her as if she had just said she was in love with the person that ordered their death not even a month ago.

"Clarke you real—" Clarke quickly cut him off. "No. I don't have the time nor the patience with you, Bell. You may hate the grounders but it's how we'll survive. Plus, I'm tired and I have to meet the Commander tomorrow. Just—" Clarke paused. "Not now, okay?" she pleaded. Bellamy nodded, stepping away from Clarke. Clarke watched him walk away, gathering her thoughts before walking into the Ark.

She made her way to her room, shutting the door gently. As much as she hated sleeping in the metal box again, at least she wasn't a prisoner.

Clarke laid in her bed, falling asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Tomorrow was going to be a long day.

Clarke walked into Lexa's tent, somehow finding it more frightening than yesterday.

"Commander." Clarke spoke, looking up to Lexa on her throne.

"Clarke." Lexa returned. Clarke looked around, noticing they were alone, not counting the guards standing guard outside of the tent.

Lexa motioned for what Clarke could only assume was the war table as she stood, walking over to it.

A map lay sprawled out on the table, it looked like the mountain. A wooden structure was placed on top of the mountain, most likely signaling that it indeed was the mountain, Clarke thought.

Other wooden figures surrounded the structure in separate and discreet spots.

The two talked back and forth about war plans, where different sections of the army would be, how Skaikru could benefit them in certain positions, and where they would infiltrate Mount Weather.

"In order to get close we would need to disable the fog," Clarke spoke.

"I'm sure I can have one of my own go in and disable it, considering we know the technology." she continued. Lexa looked at Clarke in approval.

"It is late, Clarke. We may discuss final details tomorrow."
Clarke nodded, the slightest twitch of her lips curving into a small smile.

"You may have your alliance," Lexa spoke. "Thank you, Commander." Clarke responded. "There is just one thing I require." Lexa turned to meet Clarke's eyes. "Anything." Clarke promised.

"Deliver me the one you call Finn."

"The alliance starts with his death."
