"He's a nightmare, honestly. How could someone be so heartless to throw a student out of class?"
"He wasn't heartless. He warned you thrice before doing the good deed he did with you."
"Oh, so you're taking his side now?"
"A problem with that?"
"No wonder, yes! I'm the one who has been with you for a long time. You should be my sidekick, not his!"
Clark and Emma sat on a bench of the school ground. They had just got over with Chemistry, where Clark was busy throwing rubber at Miles. It was a good thing that Miles was a nerd and he ignored him rather than being mad at him. But the lecturer caught him and warned him. He didn't listen and he was kicked out of class.
Emma rolled her eyes. "I am your sidekick but the truth is the truth, buddy!"
"No one cares, I'm your best friend and you should be with me!" He growled like a kid.
Emma laughed. "Ok, ok wailing witch. Next time, if he hurts my little boy then I'm gonna shoot him. Is that you want?"
Clark beamed happily at her. He swung his arm across her neck and rock back and fro. "Now that's my girl!"
Emma jerked herself away. "You ruined my hair."
"Really? Oh, let me help you!" He reached up and ruffled the remaining smooth hair. "There! Now you got spiked hair. Like us!"
She drew out her phone and opened the front camera. She gasped as soon as her Ostrich looking face zoomed in. "You rugrat! I'm gonna kill you!"
She grabbed her Chemistry book and began hitting Clark.
"Stop it! Oww! It hurts! Hey! Ok, I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" He cried, trying to shield himself.
Emma stopped when she was satisfied that she had hit him enough. Taking her comb out, she began to run it in her silky hair, not noticing that Clark had his eyes on her. He only looked away when Emma pulled her hair into a cute ponytail.
"What were you hawking at?" She asked suddenly.
"What?"
"You heard what I asked!" She said, catching him off guard.
He shook his head. "No! I didn't hear what you said. Can you repeat it?" He leaned his puppy dog face close to her. So close that Emma had to brush him away. "Get off my face!"
Laughing, he stood up and stretched himself. "Woow, the weather is amazing!"
"Yeah, it is." Emma said with a smile.
"Can I take you on a date?" He smirked, offering his hand.
"Oh, I wish for once you'd get serious!" Emma smirked back.
Clark laughed again. "Oh my God! Someone's getting better at flirting."
"What can I say, learned from the best!"
Clark and Emma were busy when I walked in on them. I was glad I found them at the bench on the ground. The weather was beautiful and I was looking forward to spending time out.
"Hey guys!" I waved at them.
"Hey, leader!" Clark winked at me. "How's the mission going?"
I smacked him on his head. "Not so loud, idiot. You're gonna expose us!"
"There's no one around here, dude." Clark spread his arms like eagle wings. "We're so alone!"
Emma and I both rolled our eyes. Clark was an idiot but he was a sweetheart. In Fact both Emma and Clark are cute and more cute when they are together. They could make any depressed person feel alike. Believe me, I have experienced it myself.
