It's a joke | Jerome X Bruce

Bruce's first therapy session was quite awkward. He felt extremely uncomfortable sharing anything with the psychiatrist and did not plan on changing his mind about it. Therefore, knowing he has to act good if he was ever going to get out of the dump they called Arkham he did the only thing people would do in his situation: lie. He talked on and on about his parents death and how much it broke his heart. He didn't feel sadness however anymore: he felt anger. Anger for those who caused the accident. Anger to himself for not doing anything. Anger due to him being the reason his parents were out that night.

The gods have finally bestowed a chance on me to get closer to him and I will not waste it. His dark hair matches the stripes of the uniform well, hell he'd look good in anything. He's pretty enough to be a bloody model. Reckon if I asked he'd model for me sometimes? God don't be such a joker. Although he does look like a masterpiece.

The mental drain of the therapy session made Bruce want to sleep for days. As he returned to his room he noticed quite an unusual sight - his bar doors were open and no-one other than Jerome Valeska was led on his bed.
"Jerome?" asked the shorter boy, "What are you doing here?". The ginger stood up,almost in a menacing way,looming over the boy, "I missed you." His voice seemed huskier than usual. It was a huge turn on. The dark haired boy attempted to hide his wavering voice, "well i'm here now.." Jerome allowed him past ,into the room, and they both led beside each other in the slim, grubby bed. "I appreciate you waiting but i'm really ready to go to bed.." Bruce hated to dissapoint,especially his new found friend, but he would not be able to have a proper conversation if he was half drooling on his pillow. "I don't mind." The ginger stared at him,waiting for him to go into slumber. Bruce was too tired to argue,allowing himself to fall asleep beside the maniac.
