Hazel's POV:

He was coming any minute now. I haven't been more scared in my entire life. I'm scared of my own boyfriend. You're supposed to love your boyfriend... I hated his rotten guts. He's so irresistible though. He purposely tries to be because he knows I'm gullible for love. He doesn't love me, no one does. That's why everyone I loved, left me.

I was painting an abstract painting to distract myself from thinking about him. I heard his footsteps coming up the stairs. I heard him jam the key into the lock and then I saw him open the door. He looked around the apartment to find me, he looked at me with a blank stare. He approached me with vexation. He grabbed my shoulders and slammed me against the wall. I stayed down and started to cry.

"Where's the money?" he yelled. He grabbed my face and turned it towards him so I was looking straight at him. We stared at each other for a solid minute.

"How much did you drink, Ross?" I asked softly. "More than you wanted me to." he laughed.

"Are you mad?" he said. "Well guess what? I don't give a damn about you, no one ever has and no one ever will. You're alone and always will be, you grotesque, abnormal person!" he screamed. He grabbed my cheeks and shmushed them together. He laughed at me as tears constantly ran down my face. One tear met his hand and he took his hand away, "Shut up!" he yelled. He slapped me across the face and slammed my head against the wall. He started searching for the money I got from selling my paintings. That's all I have. I was too confused to chase him. Everything was going so fast, I couldn't keep up.

"Please, Ross, I earned that money. It's mine!" I cried. As I pushed my hair out of my face, I felt blood flowing down from the back of my head. He came out of the other room with the envelope of money.

"Thanks a lot sweet-cakes, don't know where I'd be without you!" he smiled.

Anger rushed through my body. I got up and jumped onto his back.

"You bastard! I hate you, I hate you!" I screamed. He threw me onto the floor and kicked my rib cage. He took his finished beer bottle and threw it at me. As he left, he slammed the door behind him.

I cried on the floor and felt the blood drip down my face. He took everything, especially my pride and dignity. My mind kept telling me your alone and always will be.
