Chad's POV
"God she is such a drama queen." I hear Cassie's step-sister, Amelia, says as we all leave the church, Daniel in a state of confusion about the situation.
"I just wonder why she didn't call the wedding off if she didn't really want to marry me." Dan says and I see her father coming over to us.
"Daniel, son, I am so sorry about how disrespectful my daughter was to you today. As soon as I find her, we will make this right." He says and I scoff.
"More like force her into something she doesn't want." I say and he glares at me.
"You can leave. I bet you put her up to this." He says and Daniel comes over to me.
"Chad's my best friend, so no, he won't be leaving. Besides, I'm the one paying for the wedding not you." Dan says and Cassie's dad scoffs.
"He is in love with her, son. He is trying to take her away from you." He says and that's when Cassie's voice breaks through. .
"And I'm in love with Chad." She says and her father glares at her before walking to her and slapping her across the face, earning me to tackle his ass.
"DO NOT FUCKING HIT HER AGAIN YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" I yell as him as I punch him in the face.
"I still remember when we were younger and she came to my fucking house in tears with bruises on her that your worthless ass caused! You fucking hurt her! All because she was my best friend and was in love with me! Never touch her again!" I yell at her father as I drop him to the Floor and walk over to the love of my life and pull her into a passionate kiss.
