"Avril?" I ask as I stand in the doorway of my house and she stands outside, holding a blonde haired baby girl.
"Jesus, get in here!" I say ushering them inside, out of the fridged cold air and she sets the little girl down in the foyer as she takes her jacket off.
"Avril, what are you doing here?" I ask and she sighs, handing me a paper.
"She's my daughter?" I ask Avril and she nods.
"I found out about a month after our divorce." She says and I shake my head.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask and she looks down.
"I didn't want to burden you." She says as she goes after the little one and I stop her before she can leave.
"At least tell me her name." I say and she looks down.
"Kelly. Kelly Michelle Kroeger." She says and smile as I know that I have a daughter
