>plot: A young girl in a small town brings her school together with the words of a Nickelback song and Nickelback watches her on YouTube and pays her a visit at her school.

CLAY COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, W.VA.

" Let's have a big round of applause for Maris Jordon!" The announcer says as Maris walks on the auditorium stage.

Gripping the microphone, she nods at the guys in the sound booth and they start the song up.

<How could this affect my life?

How could I affect the outcome?
So why even try?
For what, for what, for what, for what?
A coward can save the day
When the bravest of men just stand by
So easy to say
So what, so what, so what?

So what if we all stand up?

What if we don't give in?
What if we trade it all?
Complacency for a voice that won't be ignored
How can we just give up?
How can we just give in?
What if the silent majority wasn't silent anymore?

A candle's the smallest light

But a handful becomes a lighthouse
Cutting the night for us, for us, for us, for us
The one with the loudest voice is really the one to follow
Silence the noise

So what, so what, so what?

So what if we all stand up?
What if we don't give in?
What if we trade it all?
Complacency for a voice that won't be ignored
How can we just give up?
How can we just give in?
What if the silent majority wasn't silent anymore?

Hurry up, the world needs this

Speak up now or we can pick up the pieces
Hurry up, the world needs this
Speak up now or we can pick up the pieces
Hurry up, the world needs this
Speak up now or we can pick up the pieces

What if we, what if we, what if we

What if we all stand up?
What if we don't give in?
What if we trade it all?
Complacency for a voice that won't be ignored
How can we just give up?

As Maris walks off stage she gets a bunch of applause and then she walks out of the auditorium.

CHAD'S POV:

"Mike, Ryan, Daniel! Get in here!" I yell as I rewind the video of this girl, Maris Jordan, sing our song, Silent Majority, on YouTube.

"Jesus Chad, what the hell do you want?" Ryan yells and I scoff at him and unplug my headset and play the song out loud.

"Holy fuck, is that our song?" Daniel asks and I nod and he chuckles.

"Damn, she's good." Mike says and I nod.

"Look at that, she's even doing my vocals!" Ryan yells and I sing along with her silently.

"Let's pay her a visit. Where the fuck does she live?" Mike asks and I exit full screen and check the thing.

"Clay high West Virginia. Let's go guys." I say and they all cheer as we all head to pack up our stuff.

SEVEN DAYS LATER... MARIS'S POV:

"Nickelback! Nickelback! Nickelback!" I hear a bunch of people cheer as I enter the gym of the school and turn to see Nickelback standing there.

"Maris Jordan! Come on up here girl!" Chad, the front man yells and I jump on the stage and get a bunch of cheers.

"We're gonna sing Silent Majority!" Chad yells and I chuckle.

"That's so amazing, Maris! Thank you!" Ryan yells and I blush a little bit as we all exit the stage.
