Anna

"This is amazing, Chad." I say as Chad leads me through the garden at his house.

"Thanks. I did this one here for you. I planted the rose about six days after I moved here and it became a bush." He says and I smile as he look into my eyes, the raido beginning to play If You're Gone by Matchbox 20.

"Dance with me?" Chad asks and I blush as I nod, allowing him to slow dance with me until the song finishes it's final chorus.

"Good I love you so much Anna. The way you feel in my arms feels so right. I never want to let you go." Chad whispers to me and I look up at him and smile as I lean in to kiss him.

Next morning
Chad's POV

I wake up to blinding sunlight and look beside me to see my best friend, my one true love, in bed beside me.

Anna smiles at me as she opens her eyes and I gently pull her closer to me as she falls back to sleep.

2007
Anna's POV

"Why don't you and I get together? Fly to the moon and straight on to heaven!" I sing as I walk into my kitchen and notice a vase of purple roses on my counter.

Picking up the note, I see that they're from Chad.

'Hey Beautiful. Hope you love the flowers. Meet me at the pond at 7 tonight. I've got a surprise for you.

Smiling as I rush upstairs to find an outfit for this evening.

Pond, 7pm
Chad's POV

"Chad this is so beautiful." Anna says quietly as I hold her close, us watching the sunshine fade into a purple and red sunset.

"It won't ever be more beautiful than you, Anna." I say as I help her up before dropping to my knee to propose to her.

"Anastasia Rosette Tyler, you have been my best friend since I met you back in Hanna in 1984. Now, you're my girlfriend and the love of my life. I want to make you even more. Will you marry me?" I ask Anna as I open the box with the ring and she wipes away tears as she nods.

"Yes!" She says as I slip the ring on her finger before gently kissing her.
