Fatima's POV
2010
Age gap: 20 & 36"Chad, we can't do this here!" I say as Chad kisses me gently.
"I know, it's just so hard not to when your around Tima." He says as I shake my head as he pulls me into another deep kiss.
My name is Fatima Hassan, I'm the only daughter to Amal and Abdul Hassan and I have four older brothers.
Saad is the oldest, he's 37 and married to an American Muslim woman, Elizabeth. They have three children and another on the way.
Nasir is the second oldest at 35. He isn't married, but got a girl pregnant during his senior year of high school. Aba and Awa sent him to Iran because he defended the girl and tried to leave Islam.
Adnan is the third oldest at 30, he's getting married to an Arabic woman, Jamila in two weeks.
Malik is the fourth oldest at 26. He isn't married, but still practices Islam.
I'm the youngest at 20. I had a twin sister at birth named Aaima, but she died less than two hours later.
Chad and I have been I guess you can call it sneaking around for almost six months.
He asked me to be his girlfriend five months ago and I'm super excited to be his girlfriend, although he isn't a believer of Islam.
Chad actually loves me for who I am and doesn't want me to change for him, like many Muslim men would want.
"Tima, you okay?" Chad asks as I sit at a picnic table and check my pocket calendar for my monthly cycles.
I realize that I'm late by almost three months and sigh as I look at him.
"I'm late." I say and he pales out.
"Shit." He mumbles and I sigh as I put it away.
"It could be nothing. My cycle is messed up from the Endometriosis, Chad." I say and he nods as he hugs me.
"Let's go to the clinic to be sure, though. I have been having crazy dreams recently of you being pregnant." Chad says and I laugh as we both go to the clinic next to the arena.
The doctor does his test and comes back and looks at us both.
"Well Miss. Hassan, your pregnant. Congratulations." He says and I feel my chest get tight as Chad tries to stabilize me.
"Tima, baby breathe. It's alright." He says and I start to cry as my parents will disown me like they did Nasir and send me away.
"It's not Chad. My parents, they'll send me to Iran to live with Nasir." I say and he shakes his head.
"They won't, cause I'm not going to let them take my child from me." He says and I nod as he holds me.
