Moblit's POV

"Ah, Hanji's not down yet?" Mrs. Zoe chuckles to herself as she sets down a plate of grilled cheese sandwiches. "Of course not. How is the science project so far?"

My shoulders shrugged a bit as I sat down. "Not so well. We just agreed on a science topic... and it's been slightly annoying... after all, we spent over an hour just brainstorming on a topic we wanted to do. Now, we're finally working on it."

"Which topic are you guys doing?"

"Hanji wanted to do something about electricity. Is it okay if you take us to the nearest hardware store? Hanji's going to storm down here soon once we compile some sort of goal with the electricity project."

Mrs. Zoe nods her head. "Of course, of course. Oh, Moblit? I had a question for you. I ask Hanji about this, and she always brushed it off."

"Sure thing. What's going on, Mrs. Zoe?"

"It's about a boy named Levi. Do you know him?"

"Levi... that name doesn't sound familiar to me... what does he look like?"

"He's somewhat short... shorter than Hanji. Black hair with some sort of shaved undercut. Very beautiful silver eyes. I think she said that Levi was a junior... so he'll be a senior by the end of the school year. Do you know him?"

I do remember him. He's always skulking around and whispering to Hanji. Erwin has been dragging him to places, and Levi doesn't talk much. Whenever he could, he would always be with Erwin or Hanji. "I don't know him too well, but I've seen him around. From Hanji... I heard he's been asking for a lot of help. He's probably some kid who wants to drop out of high school."

"It's just... Hanji has been asking me to give him a ride to his house. I never see cars in his driveway. I don't want Hanji to be wound up in some sort of chaos."

"If you want, I can look into it a bit more. I'll talk with Erwin."

"No, I don't want that. I just want to make sure that Hanji's safe and that the boy isn't some sort of trouble that would manipulate her. It's not that I don't trust Hanji... I just don't want to be surprised by anything." Mrs. Zoe shook her head. "What am I doing? I'm worried about a boy. Besides, Hanji has you like the best boyfriend. I wouldn't know who would be better than you."

"Mrs. Zoe... when Hanji's with Levi... is she... is she happy?"

"I would say so, yes. She gets along with a lot of friends. Why wouldn't she?"

"N-Nothing."

I continued to eat, thinking about Levi. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm the right person for Hanji. I know we're still in high school... we still have an entire life ahead of us. But sometimes, there would be couples who stay as a couple until they grow old. Maybe I'm not ready for that... but I don't want to leave Hanji... she'll think badly of me. And her parents... they care for me as if I was a son to them. Would it be wrong to tell Hanji that I might break up with her?
