Reborn in Twilight

Alice and Jasper return

3rd POV

"For the first time in our history humans pose a threat to our kind. Their modern technology has given birth to weapons that could destroy us. Maintaining our secret has never been more imperative. In such perilous times, only the known is safe. Only the known is tolerable. And we know nothing ofwhat this child will become. Can we live with such uncertainty? Spare ourselves a fight today, only to die tomorrow?" Aro questions.

Just then two figures emerge from the nearby woods "HA!" Aro exclaims, everyone realizes it's Alice and Jasper "Mommy! Daddy!" Cynthia cries out "Alice!" Aro says happily knowing that she'll have all the answers. As Alice and Jasper walk up to Aro and his army, two of Aro's guards stop them "My dear, dear Alice, we're so glad to see you here, after all!" Aro says jovially.

"I have evidence the child won't be a risk to our kind!" Alice declares, Aro looks at her with suspicion "Please, let me show you" Alice extends her hand, Aro motions for his guards to let Alice go. "Brother?"Caius asks cautiously, Alice walks up to Aro and he takes hold of her hand, as Aro reads her thoughts.

"It doesn't matter what I show you. Even when you see. You still won't change your mind!" At that moment Alice turns and mouths the word 'Now!' to Rosalie. Rosalie looks over at Cynthia, Eira, and Seren who are piled on top of Jacob, then she looks at Jake and says "Take care of them"  Jacob turns and runs into the woods with the girls.

Upon seeing Jacob flee with the girls Caius orders a vampire "Get them!" Suddenly Alice attacks Aro, kicking him and sending him flying back. Aro manages to land on his feet. The guards immediately grab Alice. The Cullens become (except for Edward and Bella) become enraged as they see Alice being restrained.

"Let her go!" Carlisle cries out, he bolts over to them in a desperate attempt to free his daughter. Aro meets him and the both lunge at each other. Aro lands safely on the ground while Carlisle's body lands behind him. Aro holds up Carlisle's head with a ampathic look. Everyone watches in horror as Carlisle's body is burnt by Caius.

This causes the Cullens, their witnesses, and the wolfpack to launch into an attack, chaos breaks out on both sides. Jane and Alec turn on their masters as the mating bond is too strong to disobey. There are mass casualties everywhere on both sides.

Esme.

Felix.

Bella.

Jane.

Edward.

Alec.

Jasper.

Leah.

Seth.

Alister.

Amun.

Demetri.

Finally it all ends when Alice, Rosalie, and Emmett work together to kill the three kings.

Upon seeing his own death, Aro is suddenly transported back to the field before the battle and it's clear that the battle was a just vision that Alice was showing Aro.

"Now you know. That's your future. Unless you decide on another course" Alice states, "We cannot alter our course! The child still poses a grave threat!" Caius exclaims "But what if you were sure she could remain concealed from the human world? Could we leave in peace?" Rosalie speaks up her voice pleading, willing to do anything to protect her daughters and niece "Of course. But that cannot be known" Caius states, "Actually, it can" Alice smiles and looks back.

Two more witnesses, walking in from the woods, they come and stand next to Alice.
