"Okay. I'm here." Draco walked into the library.
"Great. We've been dying to know what Neville found out!" Harry said.
"Ok so." Neville started.
Neville walked into the Library. He had the Invisibility Cloak wrapped tight around him. In one hand, he was carrying a torch. In the other, browsing for books. After 1 hour of walking to the back he got to the restricted section and he was tired. He sat on the bench, thinking about the card. It mentioned something about alchemy. He would search for things about that. He would also look at recent contributions to magic. He was sure he would find something about it. He got up and started looking for different books that might have something about Nicolas Flamel.
Neville looked through all the recent contributions to magic. It wasn't there. It took ages but after around 1 or 2 hours he finally found it.
"Finally!" Neville whispered. "Nicolas Flamel is the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone? I wonder what that is?"
"Wait! The Philosopher's Stone?" Hermione said.
"That's so cool! I can't believe it!" Skye said.
"Wait. What's the Philosopher's Stone?" Harry asked.
"It's on object that can turn metal into GOLD!" Skye said.
"And it provides the Elixir of Life, which turns the drinker immortal!" Hermione said.
"Immortal?" Ron repeated.
"It means you'll never die." Hermione explained.
"I know what it means!" Ron said, exasperated.
"Shh!"
"How old is Nicolas Flamel?" Neville asked.
"This year, he's turning 665 years old." Hermione answered.
"Wow! No wonder he wasn't in any of the recent contributions." Harry said.
"Yeah. 665 years isn't exactly recent, is it." Neville said.
"Wait so do we reckon that's what the dog is hiding?" Skye asked.
"Yep! That's what Fluffy is hiding. That's what's under the trap door. That's what Snape wants!" Hermione confirmed.
"Well, then we've got to go there before Snape." Neville said.
"Ok. Look, tonight we can go down to Hagrid's Hut. We'll tell him what we know and we'll try and get him to tell us something." Hermione decided. "Deal?"
"Deal," everyone agreed.
"Where should we meet up?" Skye asked.
"The ravenclaw common-room is the closest to Hagrid's Hut. We can meet at the bottom of our staircase." Hermione said.
"Yeah, that sound good."
They all went to their respective common-rooms, excited for the night that was coming. They had arranged that they would all meet up, then Neville, Hermione and Skye would go to Hagrid's Hut and Harry, Ron and Draco would hear what Hagrid says and write everything down, so they could analyse it. Skye made walkie talkies and there would be one in her pocket and another with the boys. They were all set.
"Hey Skye. Before you go to your common-room. I just wanted to give you something." Ron took a box out of his pocket and gave it to Skye. "It's not for Christmas. It's just a. A gift." Skye was a werewolf. Christmas day was a full moon, meaning she had transformed. She had been so tired she hadn't been able to get anything, so they were going to exchange their presents the second week into school.
"You didn't have to get me anything!" Skye said. She opened the box and inside was a bracelet with a wolf pendant attached to it. "Wow. That's so cool!"
"Look in through the eye of the wolf." Ron said. When she looked in, she saw a photo of them, hugging.
"That's so cool!" Skye said. "How'd you do that?"
"I'll never tell." Ron said.
"Well, it's amazing. I love it! You really don't have to give me anything for Christmas. This is enough. Why did you get it?"
"Well, we were talking about Harry and Ginny and Hermione and Draco and, us. They asked me about if we were dating and I started to think about it. I realised that I like you. As in, like like you. In a more than friends way." Ron explained.
"I do too." Skye hesitated. "So are we. More than friends?"
"Yeah," Ron said. "If that's fine with you?"
"Oh yeah!" Skye laughed. "Bye, see you tonight." They hugged each other and Skye left, towards her common-room.
