Eddie raised an eyebrow. "You think you can do that?"
The creature growing out of his back nodded. "Yes. We can go back! We can warn them!"
"And there aren't any side effects?"
"Nobody will get hurt! Or get sent with us! I swear!"
Eddie rolled his eyes. "Do the thing then."
The creature grinned and took over.
The mass of black symbiotic fluid pulled the lever and yelled.
It was dark for a few seconds until Eddie realized his eyes were closed, at which point he painfully opened them and groaned.
He seemed to have landed in an apartment- that was good. Now he had to figure out if it was the one he wanted to be in.
As he stood up, the ankle that had broken on his landing was put back into place.
He looked around, wiping the blood off of his face and clothes.
It overlooked a beautiful city, that sparkled through the large windows. Eddie rested his hands on the windowsill.
"Gah!" Things fell from the person's hands and he caught them with a black tendril. "Mr. Brock?"
"Ned?"
They grinned.
"How-how are you here? Dude, this is so- so amazing! I gotta go tell Peter! Oh my God!"
"Yeah, uh, before you do kid... Did you just call me Mr. Brock?"
"Yes... I did. I did do that. Uh..."
"Why?"
"Gut reaction? I've been calling you that for a while over here- because it's weird talking about people I've met by their first names when I'm talking to people like... big superhero...people and stuff, you know?"
Eddie nodded. "Good to see you again Ned."
"Good to see you too! How did you get here anyway?"
"I- Venom...stuff. Don't really understand it. Don't really want to understand it."
"So you chose to come back?"
He nodded again. "Yeah. About that, there's something I've gotta tell you. Something I've gotta tell all of you. It's important.
