The Nowhere Island. (P14)

Venom growled, narrowing his eyes at the cage.
She seemed unaffected by him, merely crossing her arms and sighing.
"It's cold in here. I wish to be given my coat back."
Peter smiled, holding the long piece of fabric. "Sorry but until we know exactly what this thing does, you can't have it."
He pulled another thing out of one of the pockets and tossed it to the symbiote.
"It is getting colder."
M.J. sighed. "Yeah, that's why you're holding it."
"Very cold now." he looked down at his hands. They had turned blue with ice.
"Right, " The girl looked at the cage. "What the hell is that?"
The woman slumped into the corner. "It's the battery for a freeze ray."
"Right, throw it in the cave."
Ned nodded, bending down into an action pose, one hand creating a circle.
"Come on, cave portal. Come on. You can do it portal. Go to the weapon cave."
He closed his eyes and made another circle.
"Yes! I did it!"
A glowing portal stood in the middle of the ship. Venom shrugged and threw the thing in, shaking the ice off of his hands.
Peter tossed him something else as the portal closed.
It was small and rectangular.
"Is this... Chocolate? Why does the woman have chocolate?"
"No, it's not... It's not from the woman. It's just time for you to eat."
Venom had already devoured the bar and Peter threw another one.
"How did... You get... So many... On here... Without... Me... Noticing?" He asked between bites.
"I can't tell you that, man. Would kinda ruin the whole thing."
"Well... Yes. But then I could have more chocolate..." He frowned. It looked unnatural on his face, which was built to be constantly smiling.
Ned grinned at him. "Don't worry. I'm tryna figure out where Peter hides stuff too. When I find it I'll tell you."
"I keep it hidden for a reason, guys..."
Venom and Ned began to talk about how annoying it was for things to be hidden from them.
Peter put his face in his hand and sighed.
