What if I told you guys that Wattpad wasn't actually the first website where I started writing? Yep, that's a total shocker isn't it? I actually did not start on the website Wattpad, the website where I actually started writing is FiMfiction.net. Many of you MLP fans may know this sight as the MLP version of Fanfiction.net and I still am active on that sight once in a while to check out some books from time to time. This was the FIRST website that I came across when it came to fanfictions as I was already a huge MLP FiM fan, so discovering this definitely made my happy. I at first thought that I probably wasn't going to like it. . . but I ended up LOVING it instead.

There were many different writers on that site that caught my attention as many stories arranged from Second Person, Romance, Crossover, Adventure, you name it. I was reading such organized stories that people put a ton of effort into making at the time and I even stumbled across one particular author that just got done releasing his Pinkie Pie x Anonymous Male Reader story on FiMfiction and that was none other than Jordanwolfboy9743. He was the person that in my opinion, made the best kinds of romance stories for others on FiMfiction to read and it was honestly getting good reviews, including from me too.

Seeing other authors in action that I liked made me see that I had just as much freedom to try and write my own thoughts myself as I decided that I would try the same thing on FiMfiction. . . sadly while some did indeed like it, I was not particularly fond of it at as it was just inserting my OC into making random scenes without even thinking too hard and while some did like the lines that I used, they were still kind of taken so I had to cancel it with how bad it was becoming.

(A/N): The story is still on FiMfiction and you are welcome to read it, but be warned as it's definitely not as good as the Hero of Equestria or Legend of the Male CPU as it was the very first story I made in my life.

Due to the story being the first one that I've ever written before, I knew that I wasn't going to make much progress at all through there at all and even Jordan himself said that he was having trouble. It wasn't just the ideas though as FiMfiction has a really strict policy on the structure of how exactly you're suppose to write your stories. Unlike Wattpad, you cannot use the script format on FiMfiction which in my opinion is unfair.

I gave on writing at the time and just decided to keep reading. . . that is until I discovered Wattpad which was filled with a more diverse amount of books that people write and they could be written in any way that you so desire. I searched up some more MLP fanfictions on that sight and you guys definitely know who that led me to. LordStarX101. You all know him for being notorious for The Prince of Canterlot High and His Princesses and it was at the time, the best Equestria Girls story made.

However, he wasn't the only that I discovered that made Equestria Girls stories as shadowlight2784 was also doing the same thing too. . . but there was a twist with it. Shadow's stories imported more mature elements into the stories as if he was almost making similar to reality or similar to an anime. He also like making the protagonist god-like in a way to where he would have to battle other god-like figures too. The biggest part of it was actually that it was less of a harem story than what many would see on Wattpad. His most popular story at the time, The King of CHS was directed more towards the protagonist and the main character of the Equestria Girls herself, Sunset Shimmer with them also experiencing different counterparts of themselves.

There were also other variations of that story that he made that were similar, but the reader had different personalities or goals instead. Like Equestria Girls & Their Fan From Another World (Harem based, focused more on Sunset, but also a TON of meta inside of it where you tell the characters are all in a show!) and The God of Canterlot High (Harem based, OP male reader, and just goes with the flow while the reader acts like a god compared to the girls; Shadow's least favorite work that he made too.)
