"Ahhhhh......" A startled scream escape from my mouth and the gravity made my body to fall down.

I was so thrilled that I didn't feel my body when it touch the floor and it might be due to the floppy carpet otherwise I must have screamed louder in agony.

Bark.

Bark.

I had my eyes closed during the fall and then heard the barking sound so loud that it deafen my ears. My eyes flew open and I felt pressure on my stomach.

"Oww." I let out a cry in pain and tried to raise my body.

Bark.

Bark.

The barking continues and as soon as I raised my body a huge black dog came into my view and the second I saw it my body again fell down.

My whole body stiffened, my breath hitch and my eyes got stuck on the dog. It was still barking looking down at me like he had won whatever game he was playing and I couldn't move my body.

I was so afraid that if I move then it would bite me and I had to visit the  hospital to have the injection, that I was just praying that it would get off me.

But my prayer did not get fulfill. The fear escalated as I made eye contact with the dog and he looked menacingly at me. Then he slowly bend his face towards me and I was about to tear up in fear of being bitten.

"Tito!" Just then a loud powerful male voice yelled stopping the dog who had already bare his fang.

"Get off right now." The same man ordered sounding mad and thankfully the dog jump off my body making sad noises.

I would have felt pity if I were to see the sad face of the dog but at the moment I was so shocked that I couldn't get up. I had ran half of the day escaping from the rundown building and I was so damn tried that I wanted nothing more than to have the dinner and then went to sleep but the dog took me off guard.

"Oh my! Madame." Other male voice yelled sounding shocked.

I felt ashamed to lie down on the floor with my back on the floor but I did not have the force to abruptly get up. I heard footsteps approaching near me and not wanting to let the two men to see my overly embarrassing
state from the close distance, with gritted teeth I managed to stand up on my feet.

"Are you okay Madame?" Noah, the chef, whom I had seen in the morning asked looking concern as soon as he halt near me.

"Not bad." I grumbled straightening my pajamas and tried to act cool.

Bark.

Tito, the dog barked again as if he didn't like that I was standing looking taller than him and my legs shook making me to almost loose my footing.

Oh God!

I had thought that the dog had already left but no he was 15 feet apart from me. He didn't have a leash around him and could jump on me anytime.

My cool act went down hill and I backed off with eyes full of fear.

"Tito!" Noah called in a coaxing manner and motioned me to stop on my track.

"Calm down man. You are scaring the madame. Boss will not appreciate your behavior." He scolded looking mad.

"Sir Igor." Noah called looking towards the door and I followed his gaze to see a man claded in the black suit with a scowl etched on his face.

He looked like a typical rude boy, not that I judged by his look but his attitude gave it all away. He looked to be in his late twenties or maybe the same age as Vincenzo and was quite handsome if not for the stern look he had on.

He did not let out a word even when Noah waited for his response and sensing my gaze on him, his eyes fell on me. Our eyes met and for some reason I didn't avert my eyes off him.

I wasn't attracted nor was I interested but there was something or I must say my ego didn't let me back off first. That man, Igor, or whatever he is called seem to be the owner of the blackie aka Tito and due to his carelessness I got attacked by Tito.

And even when he was here, he didn't bother to take Tito out of the sight when he knew that I was scared to death by the dog. Worst, Tito might have bite me and I had to visit my most hated place which is the hospital.

He reeked of arrogance and he did not bother to greet me rather he ignored me like I was not worthy to waste his pervious time. With a once over, he tear away his gaze from me and looked at Tito who was eyeing me as if I was a delicious meat.

Yeah. I have meat on my body but Tito that's not something a dog get to eat.

'Shoo. Go away.' I so wanted to yell at the top of my lungs but I couldn't.

"Noah." I called trying to sound as normal as I could and looked at him through the corner of my eyes as he was at my left side.

"Yes, madame." He answered.

"I'm goin ou." I spoke so fast that I couldn't pronounce the words properly and dashed towards the door.

Luckily, I get out of the door without Tito jumping on me and a sigh escaped my mouth as soon as my feet crossed the door frame.

But it didn't last long.

"Tito. Madame is running away from you. Go and greet her properly." I was doing the happy dance on my mind when I heard Igor's obnoxious voice and Tito's happy bark sounded afterwards.

What the hell!

Bark.

My legs moved on their accord and I ran towards the stairs. I climbed down the stairs absent-mindedly and Tito was hot on my trail. I ran around the living room looking like a maniac while avoiding the chaser and after few minutes I got trapped in the corner.

In front of me was Tito and behind me was the wall, I was at a death end. Tito then lunges towards me and I was waiting for the imminent pain but it didn't came rather I felt a cooling sensation on my hand.

Bark.

"Ti-to." I stuttered looking dumbfounded at Tito who was barking non-stop and was pushing his body toward me as if motioning me to pat his head.

"Tito. Your madame is not par with  your sir." I was figuring things out when a rude voice sounded in the huge living room.

"She is dumb."
