"Thea Castello!" Lexi screamed at the top of her lungs shredding her caring mother appearance.

"Castello?!" Thea too screamed with a mocking look.

"I am Thea Rosewood not Castello. Don't associate me with your cruel family!" Thea said with a harsh glare and chill ran down Lexi's body making her shudder.

"Thea, how can you treat your mother like this? I..." Lexi sighed looking like an exhausted mother whose child wouldn't listen to her.

"Mother? Do you deserve to be my mother?" If looks could kill then Lexi would have been six feet underneath the ground.

"My mother is already dead. I only have my dad." Thea retorted sounding like an innocent child who has been deeply hurt by her mother.

Her words choked Lexi and she felt suffocated yet she didn't plead guilty. Her words were of deep affection and motherly love yet her emotion spoke different words. Any onlooker could decipher Lexi's true thoughts and Thea is not an exception. It was fortunate that they were inside a room out of the reach of the outside world.

And it's hard to tell if seeing the heartless woman who had abandoned her made her feel happy but the hate she had for the estranged mother, no, calling her mother would be disrespectful for the father who had shelter her rather calling her stonehearted bitch would be a perfect name, intensify far more she had thought.

Today, she had come with only one intention that is to completely break off the ties with the woman who had carried her for nine months yet fled away to save her own life. Her birth mother's identity has cause her enough trouble and now she didn't want to have any kind of associations with this bitch.

"You heartless child. You don't want to recognize your mother. I was looking forward to our reunion but you...you...." Lex trailed off after seeing the murderous gaze of Thea.

It was hard for Lexi to take in the scene unfolded in front of her as she had never thought that the child once she had abandoned for the great cause would turn against her. She had planned it all before giving birth to the young lady siting in front of her but now nothing is going under her plan.

Why?! 

What has gotten wrong?

That's not how her long lost daughter should act when she saw her. Where is the longing for the mother? Where is the cries of the heartbroken child?  Where are the bitter words of resentment?

The one sitting in front of her look like a brave young lady who had endured lots of hardship whose has experience great turmoil and nothing can hide from her securitizing eyes. The minute her gaze landed on you then all our secrets would be an open book for her manipulate.

How could she make the mistake which would cost her her life?  

When she had seen her small frail body after giving birth who look pitiful and only cried, she had thought that the child was weak and would bring her troubles so she left the child behind and fled away to her home but that once pitiful and small body has now grown into a beautiful woman whose brain moves faster than her.

Sebastian Rosewood!

That man must have fill her daughter's head with poison and made her face the bitter world so that even meeting her birth mother didn't soften her heart. How much hardship Thea had endured that she had become estranged with the woman had given birth to her. But the fault is hers.

'No. No. I did all for our family.'  Lexi reason out denying her fault. 

And if someone close to Lexi saw her at the moment then they would have to sigh in disbelief as Mrs. Castello is so good with her words that nothing can faze her but now the child she had birth made me her contemplate her decision. The once prideful Lexi has fallen into such a state that somewhere she regret the decision she had taken 19 years ago. 

She should have keep tabs on the Rosewood family but she was busy mending her relationship with her husband and starting a happy family that she completely forget about the seed she had planted on the enemies home. And she underestimate Sebastian Rosewood, that cold hearted man turn her daughter against her. 

She had thought that he would make her life miserable and toucher Thea to get avenge her but that cruel man used poison to kill poison. 

'Hahaha. You should never underestimate your enemy even though you caught their weakness but there is still sometime. Let's pacify the little doll then think of the strategy to defeat the enemy.' Lexi scoffed while analyzing the situation and clenched her hand while her manicured nails digs inside the palm.

"Sebastian Rosewood. That man must have fill your ears against me but you should also listen to my part of the story. Your mother deserves a chance, Thea." Mrs. Castello fake tears and bow her head down looking like a defeated mother.

"Mrs. Castello, you are talking about chance when you were the one who had abandoned me in the first place. Don't you feel any shame while playing pretend to be a sad mother." Thea rolled her eyes looking extremely annoyed.

The bitch never get tired of being a bitch.

"Hey. So what if I had abandoned you? I am now here to reconcile with you. Can't you see how much effort I'm putting in to mend our relationship? You ungrateful brat." Lexi reason out sounding righteous.

"You shouldn't talk about relationships, it doesn't suit your style. I have enough of your nonsense now let's get to the point." Thea said with a stern face while looking sharply at Lexi.

"What point are you talking about? Aren't we here to reconcile?" Lexi asked looking bewildered.

"Who wants to reconcile with you? You had agreed to hand over the necklace if I meet up with you, going back on your words?" Thea asked  while getting up from the chair.

"Which necklace are you talking about?" A male voice came from the door which made Thea to turn around her head.

"Enzo Castello." Thea voice out with a mocking gaze.
