Third Person POV

The next day, Aiko decided to set up a gang meeting and tell everyone exactly what the doctor said since the others never actually told the members the extent of her injuries.

"As we all know, Blossom's Commander, Sakura Haruno, was seriously injured in yesterday's battle. At the hospital, the doctor said that she was stabbed in her pancreas, meaning that there was a lot of internal bleeding. They put her into a coma and she'll be waking up in about a week. Even after she wakes up, she'll be in a lot of pain and won't be able to fight like she used to for a few months at least..." Aiko paused and bowed down to all the Blossom members, "Thank You for following me and Sakura and allowing us to lead you all... I understand if any of you would want to leave after hearing the news."

It was silent for a few seconds before people started to yell.

"LIKE HELL WE'RE LEAVING!"

"SAKURA WILL ALWAYS BE THE STRONGEST!"

Hana walked up to Aiko, "We're all family, why would we leave now? Especially when our leader is hurt? Now is the time where all of us step up!" She turned to the rowdy group of teens, "Right?! Blossom is family and we're gonna stick with whoever needs our help! Especially Sakura!"

Everyone started cheering, they knew that nothing could break Blossom apart.

Haruno Sakura POV

Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep

Huh? What the hell is that noise? It's fucking annoying and woke me up.

I slowly opened my eyes and tried looking around... Is this a hospital room? Why am I here? I looked to my right and saw a clock on my nightstand, it read 2:32 p.m.

Wow, it's so late into the day. I don't think I've ever slept in for this long in years.

Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep

Dammit, I need to find whatever is making that noise.

I slowly tried to sit up but felt a sharp pain in both my back and stomach and dropped back on the bed. I felt it suddenly a large rush of memories came back to me. It felt like my head was gonna explode from all the information.

The last thing I remember before passing out was going to sleep on the ground after the big fight. I remember thinking about how peaceful it felt before the darkness overcame me.

As I was thinking I heard something crash onto the ground. I looked up and saw Aiko staring at me with tears streaming down her face. There was broken glass all around her from what looked to be a vase.

I smiled and opened my arms, "Hey Koko, how's it been?"

She came crashing into my arms, hitting my stomach wound, I tried to not make any noises at the pain but she heard me and jumped back.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" she cried. "It's fine, come here, let's try that again," I laughed. This time she gently hugged me, making sure not to come in contact with any of my injuries.

We spent a few minutes in that position until she finally calmed down and got off me. "So, how long was I out?" I asked.

"Only five days, the doctors said you should've been sleeping for a week though." she frowned.

I laughed and flexed my arms, "Look at me! I won't be taken out by some little scratches for over a week!"

"Don't say that!" Aiko exclaimed, "You died twice by those 'little scratches,' you're lucky they were able to revive you so quickly or you would've gotten some permanent brain damage."

As Aiko was speaking I noticed how tired she looked and sounded. She had dark eyebags under and I could hear her slurring her words a bit. Was she worried about me? I feel bad.

"I'm sorry for worrying you or causing any trouble." I scooted over and made some space on my bed, "Come here, you look like you could pass out any second from exhaustion." She glanced at the bed but refused, "I can't. What if you need something and you can't get up to get it? Or if you need help getting to the bathroom?"

I laughed and grabbed her hand, dragging her onto the bed, "I'm fine! That's what nurses are for, you don't need to worry yourself thinking about all that." She sighed and laid down, being careful to not touch my stomach.

"Ok... I'll take a quick nap, but please wake me up if you need anything." she insisted.

"Alright, now go to sleep."

It didn't take very long for her eyes to shut and her breaths to become even. I stared at her face, which was only a few inches away from mine, admiring her beauty.

Aiko had long black hair and a Greek nose with a nose ring. Her mom is from Greece while her dad is Japanese, though Aiko was born here in Japan. She was gorgeous, honestly. I could stay here all day and look at the cute little expressions she makes in her sleep.

"Sakura... I... you"

Did she just say my name? I wonder what she is dreaming about.

"No! Sakura... don't... go! I... you!" she started to move around and tried to grab at the air in front of her. I grabbed her hands and encased them in my own, making sure to hold tight.

She finally settled down and stopped mumbling. That's weird, I've never heard her talk in her sleep in our past sleepovers.

Aiko then started to move closer to me, wrapping her arms around my waist and snuggling into my chest. I froze, as she kept moving trying to get comfortable, I didn't want her to wake up. I felt Aiko bury her head into the crook of my neck and finally stop moving. I sighed in relief that she didn't wake up and put my right arm around her, pulling her closer. My eyelids began to grow heavy from the warmth and comfort of having her in my arms.

I tried to stay awake but eventually succumb to sleep.
