Third Person POV

In a moment of chaos, Aiko's heart-wrenching scream pierced the air, "SAKURA!" Her voice was trembling as tears streamed down her cheeks. She dashed to where Sakura lay, her body limp and lifeless. Aiko held her tightly, feeling the warmth slowly fading away from her dear friend's body. "SOMEBODY CALL AN AMBULANCE!!" Her voice was desperate, hoping beyond hope that Sakura would make it through.

Baji was rooted to the spot, paralyzed with fear and shock. His eyes remained fixed on Sakura's stomach wound. She took the hit for him, even after what he had done. Why? He didn't deserve it, he didn't deserve her.

Suddenly, he snapped out of his trance, "I can't just stand around... I'll protect her." Baji stood firmly in front of Aiko and Sakura, shielding them from any Valhalla member who tried to come closer.

As Mikey woke up, he saw the chaos unfolding around him. His eyes slowly landed on Sakura's unconscious and bleeding body. Aiko was crying, holding onto her lifeless form, and Baji was standing protectively over them. "What happened..." he murmured as he tried to stand up. "WHO DID THAT?!" His voice echoed through the courtyard as he saw Sakura's blood everywhere.

Takemitchy was the nearest person, and Mikey grabbed him, his eyes blazing with anger. "WHO DID THAT TO HER?!" His voice was full of rage, not caring that he was getting blood everywhere.

"K-Kazutora-"

Mikey's eyes widened as he turned towards Kazutora, his emotions raw and unchecked. "KAZUTORA!! FIRST SHINICHIRO AND NOW SAKURA?! I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO KILL ME NOT THE PEOPLE I CARED FOR! IF YOU WANTED TO DIE THAT BAD, THEN YOU SHOULD'VE SAID SO SOONER!!" His voice was loud, filled with a mix of anger and despair.

He started walking towards Kazutora, his eyes fixed on him, determined to end this once and for all. But Baji screamed at him, "NO MIKEY! WAIT!" He knew he couldn't let Kazutora die.

Ignoring him, Mikey continued walking towards Kazutora. "People can betray anyone..." Kazutora started, his voice low and defeated. "Let's end this, Mikey. Will you die? Or will I?"

Mikey punched Kazutora, throwing him to the ground, and kicked him in the stomach, over and over again. "If all you can do is destroy... then I'll just destroy you, Kazutora." His punches echoed through the courtyard, each hit filled with anger and resentment.

"He's gonna kill him..." Mitsuya muttered.

Sakura started to wake up, the pain piercing through her body. She opened her eyes and looked around, seeing Aiko and Baji crying above her. "Aiko? Is that you?" Her voice was raspy from the blood.

Aiko gasped, "You're awake. Sakura, you're gonna be okay! The ambulance is on its way! Just stay awake for a few more minutes!"

Sakura groaned, there were loud noises all around her, "What's happening? Why is everything so loud?" She slowly sat up, wincing at the pain.

"Mikey is fighting Kazutora... he's gonna kill him." Baji's voice was full of desperation and despair.

"Why? Why would you save me from Kisaki? I don't deserve it!" Baji sobbed, "Now Kazutora might die! I can't let that happen! He was once one of my most precious people! But now what?! I can't fight Mikey! All I want is for us to be the same as we once were!"

Sakura smiled, her voice raspy from the blood. "You're a good kid, Baji," she said. "You made a few mistakes, but you don't deserve to die." She held out her hand. "Help me up."

Baji slowly helped Sakura onto her feet, supporting her right side while Aiko was supporting her left.

"Take me to Mikey."

It took them a few minutes, but they finally got down from the pile. They slowly walked over to the middle, where Mikey was beating up Kazutora.

"Mikey." Sakura gasped, coughing out blood.

Mikey stopped mid-swing and looked up to see Sakura standing over him, alive.

"Thank you... for getting mad just for me," she said, smiling. "But I'm fine, this little scratch can't kill me!"

"Sakura..." he whispered, his eyes filling with tears.

"As much as I hate that bastard, you shouldn't kill Kazutora," Sakura said. "I know what he did was unforgivable, but we shouldn't end his life because of it. We'd be no better than him at that point." Mikey's eyes widened at her words.

"He has people who care for him," Sakura said, glancing at Baji. "And you probably do too. He was your best friend at one point who made a mistake and has suffered the consequences."

Mikey looked down at Kazutora for a few seconds before getting off him. He walked over to Sakura. "You shouldn't be standing in your condition."

All three of them helped her lie on the ground, being careful not to aggravate her wounds. Sakura closed her eyes and lay her head on Aiko's lap, taking quick shallow breaths. "Baji, go check on Kazutora. I can practically feel you itching to go," she laughed, coughing up some blood.

Baji looked at the injured girl for a few more seconds before running to Kazutora.

WEE-WOO WEE-WOO

Sounds of sirens rang through the lot, startling everyone.

The spectators started to leave. They didn't want to be caught in this mess, especially if there was a chance someone might die.

Sakura started to fade in and out of consciousness. She couldn't tell which sounds were real or hallucinations. "Shit, this is bad. I can't let them see me pass out. They won't leave me and will get arrested," she thought.

"Aiko, Mikey..." Sakura whispered. They could barely hear her. "You guys need to leave. I don't want you two getting arrested for no reason."

"We can't leave you here! Something could happen before the ambulance gets here!" Aiko cried. "I don't care if I get arrested! That's much better than leaving you alone!"

Mikey looked torn. "But Sakura, I can't leave you like this."

Sakura smiled weakly. "You have to. Please take Aiko and go. You won't be leaving me. You can visit me in the hospital," she said, her eyes closed. "And make sure Baji and Kazutora leave too. I don't want to see Kazutora back in juvie."

Mikey rose slowly from beside Sakura, hesitant to leave her alone.

"Sakura, I'm sorry," he murmured, his voice choked with emotion. "I'll come back to see you as soon as I can."

He turned to Aiko, who was sitting next to Sakura, her hand tightly grasping the girls. "Aiko, we need to go," he said, gesturing towards the door. "The ambulance will be here soon."

Aiko shook her head stubbornly. "I can't leave her, Mikey. I won't abandon her," she sobbed.

Mikey took Aiko's hand and lifted her up gently. "We won't leave her alone," he promised, "The ambulance will take care of her. But we have to go before the police arrive."

Aiko wiped away her tears and stood up, casting one last look at Sakura before following Mikey out the door. "Okay," she whispered.
