Haruno Sakura POV
"In the past year, I've tried to come to terms with what happened and that Shin's gone... but it still hurts. Y'know?" I smiled at Takemitchy and Chifuyu, trying to not let tears in my eyes fall.
I didn't realize that I was shaking until Aiko grabbed my hand, "Calm down, take some deep breaths." she whispered. Luckily, nobody noticed since Mikey started speaking.
"The CB250T that Baji and Kazutora were trying to steal... was the one my brother rode. It was supposed to be my birthday present. Now it's my beloved ride, a memory of Shinichiro." he said.
Wait... Baji? The First Division Captain? HE WAS THE OTHER GUY?
"Mikey... did you say Baji?" I asked, my voice wavering.
He turned towards me looking confused, "Yeah, it was Baji and Kazutora... did you not know that?"
"No! They never told me the other person's identity! No matter how much I asked!" I yelled out. I turned to everyone else, "Could you guys give us some privacy?" They quickly walked away, Aiko stayed back and stared at me for a few seconds before following the others. Once they were gone, I turned back to Mikey. "Why would you let your division captain in Toman? And as a Division Captain?! How is not locked up in juvie?!"
Mikey sighed, "He didn't kill Shinichiro, Kazutora did. I spoke with both of them when they were taken in at the police station, Baji had no idea it was Shinichiro until right before Kazutora hit him. He didn't have any bad intentions from the start and apologized to me more times than I could count. Though I can't forgive Kazutora, he killed my brother and isn't even sorry. The last time I saw him, he was yelling that it was my fault. Can you believe that?" Mikey laughed while crying, "HE SAYS ITS MY FAULT THAT HE KILLED SHINICHIRO! HE CAN'T EVEN TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!"
Mikey was silently crying while staring at his bike, "I'm sorry, Sakura. He's my childhood friend, I can't lose him too. I won't apologize for keeping Baji in Toman, and I won't kick him out either."
I stared at him for a few seconds before looking away, "Tch, if you think he's a decent person then it's fine. Can you send him to the shop for me later today? I want to speak with him." I left to go meet with the rest of the group.
"Hey, I think I'm gonna leave. You guys should come over to the shop. I'll give you all a discount." I said to them. After we said our goodbyes, Aiko and I left. We decided to go back to my apartment, watch some movies, and make a hotpot.
Future (2017) Hanagaki Takemichi POV
"Thanks for putting up with my request, Naoto," I said.
"I'm used to it. Happens all the time." he replied, "Have you decided on what you are going to ask him?"
"I just need to confirm something before changing the past."
I didn't reply and walked into the interrogation room. Behind a glass window, with his back facing us, was Draken. "You back again? Takemitchy, I told you to leave Tokyo."
"I just wanted to ask you one thing. Do you remember that one biker gang from 2005...."
"...the one without a leader, Valhalla?"
"Wasn't the leader, Tetta Kisaki?"
"What? No, he wasn't"
"HUH?!" I yelled at him.
"Valhalla's leader was Mikey. It was created just for him to lead."
Valhalla was a gang created for Mikey to lead? "But that... that's impossible!! Mikey is Toman's leader, right?!" Why would he start a war against Toman if he was the leader?
"Impossible? you remember too, don't you?" He asked with a confused expression. "Twelve years ago, on bloody Halloween, Valhalla took over Toman. Valhalla as the parent organization created a new Tokyo Manji Gang. That's the one that exists today.
"Bloody Halloween!" I exclaimed, "Isn't that the day that Toman and Blossom fought Valhalla?!"
"Yes. That day... Toman suffered its first loss and Blossom was disbanded."
"WHAT?! Toman lost? How could we have lost with Mikey and Sakura on our side?"
"No..." Draken looked down with a solemn expression, "It's Mikey's fault that Toman lost."
"Mikey's... fault?"
Draken sat down, staring at the table, expressionless. "That day... why... Why didn't I realize... that Mikey was just a... 15-year-old kid... with an enormous cross to bear? On that day Mikey killed Kazutora."
"What?!" I jumped up.
Draken continued, "Mikey didn't get arrested. Because Kisaki had a decoy prepared. Mikey fell into darkness. Valhalla took over Toman. With Mikey as the leader and Kisaki as acting leader at the head... they grew into a huge organization. Thinking back on it now, Kisaki joined Toman... because he had his sights set on Mikey from the start."
"Wait just a minute. Mikey killed Kazutora? No... Mikey would never kill someone!" I started to bang on the window, overcome with emotion.
"If you were in Mikey's position back then... you think you could've stopped yourself from killing Kazutora? The guy who killed Mikey's brother and that day Kazutora killed Baji and Sakura!"
"WHAT?! Kazutora killed Baji and Sakura?! Why?!" I suddenly got a flashback, I saw Baji and Sakra. They were on the ground, their eyes were lifeless.
We left the prison and are now walking to Naoto's car.
"After talking with Draken, I could see it in my mind." I started to sob, "I don't know why it happened, but my mind just overflowed with memories I shouldn't have!! Baji, laying on the ground, Sakura smiling as she died, Kazutora with an unrecognizable face, and Mikey covered in blood. I can't tell if all of it's real!! But Mikey looked so sad..."
I wiped my tears, "I can't sit around and cry! I need to save Mikey, Sakura, and Baji!!"
