Amber

"No, but he knows we're here. And he knows Liam was suppose to study with you as well." Niall whispers. Of course he knows everything, great.

Liam looks at me, "I'll make sure he leaves right away Amber." He gets up and goes to the door, not leaving enough room for Louis to even see inside the room.

We hear muffled talking from outside.
I let out a big sigh, "Why did he have to come here?"

The boys shrug and Harry brings my head to lean on his shoulder and he begins to stroke my hair. He's too much for me to handle right now.

The door swings open making us jump, "Amber I'm sorry. I was such an idiot!" Louis busts through. All of the boys stand up and guard me.

"You need to leave Louis, I'm sorry lad, but you do." Liam says standing in front of Louis lightly trying to push him out.

"What do you guys have to do with any of this? I'm trying to apologize, this is mine and Amber's problem. Not yours." Louis tries to shove through all of them but doesn't succeed.

Curse words are flown and the boys keep pushing him back from getting to me. My heart keeps racing, I just sit on the ground frozen, not knowing how to even react.

"Why aren't you talking Amber? Why am I dealing with them and not you?" He shouts.

"Louis, you need to stop. It's over, I told you maybe someday you'll be forgiven, but not for a long time. Just leave me alone!" I stand up but stay in my place.

Louis just looks down with a terribly sad look on his face. "Amber please," he sighs, "I'm sorry. How many times do I have to say it? A long time is too long for me. I-I love you."

My heart stops and all five boys are now looking at me, frozen.

"I do, it's true. I love you. I was such an idiot, and I just want to make it up to you. Please give me another chance. I love you." He begs.

"If you had really loved me you wouldn't have done that to me. I told you Louis, and I'm sticking to what I said. Please, just leave me alone."

"Amber, everyone deserves a second chance. Please."
All I can do is just simply shake my head.

"Mate, seriously. She's asked you to leave her alone. Come on, let's go." Harry states firmly.

"We'll walk him out Liam. Have a good night mate." Niall says looking at Zayn and Harry who are nodding.

"Bye Amber, we'll see you tomorrow." Zayn shouts waving. I wave back. And they bring Louis out of the room and I hear muffled voices going down the stairs.

Liam sighs and closes the door. He turns around and starts walking to the bed and sits on it with me.

"I'm sorry about all of that." He states fumbling with his fingers.

"It's not your fault, thank you for guarding me though. I appreciate it. All of you are such great guys." I smile and put my hand on his that is now resting on his knee.

He looks down at our hands and looks up at me smiling. Gosh his smile always kills me inside, it's too perfect.

"No problem. We all have the very protective trait as you've already probably noticed." He lets out a cute laugh.

"Yeah, hey there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's such a great trait."
He smiles again bringing my heart out of my chest.

"So, um I have a question," I start letting out a big breath. I need to ask him what's up. It's been running through my mind like crazy and I can't just pretend it never happened like I had to the last kiss.

This one was different.
