Amber
Liam doesn't get his affect on me. He doesn't see how much he kills me inside. I just wish I didn't have to be so in love with him when I know he only thinks of me as a friend and a pity case in a way.
The way he gets so over protective of me makes me wonder, but it's so adorable that I can't even complain about it. Sure it messes up things with him and Louis, which I feel bad for. But it's such a lovely thing that really gets to you.
"I'm sorry about everything tonight Louis, Liam was just being a jerk, but I talked to him and now he's better." I tell Louis who is on the other end of the phone.
"Yeah, that boy is so in love with you and I don't blame him."
"What?" I spit out my water that I was sipping on. Total movie moment.
"You don't see it Amber, don't be so blind." He says bluntly.
"Louis stop it, I'm not in the mood for your jokes. Now go get some rest."
"Whatever Amber, keep avoiding it. But okay, you too. Thanks for calling love." His sweet tone returns at the last sentence making me shiver.
He is such a good guy besides what he did, and I just really wish he wouldn't have done that. Something good could've come out of us but things happen unfortunately.
"Goodnight Louis." I almost whisper, and he does the same to me before hanging up the phone.

Liam"We're going to smash it tonight mates!" Zayn says throwing his jersey over his shoulder pads.
"Yeah we are!" Niall agrees high giving us all.
Just as we're all getting pumped up, I see Louis out of the corner of my eye. I glance over at him and his eyes meet up to mine before I quickly look away.
Before I know it I turn around to see his figure standing in front of me, "I'm sorry for everything that's happened. I get it now. You love her and I totally got in the way. You've loved her for a long time and I'm just realizing it now. I'm really sorry lad."
"Louis, don't put yourself down like that. I've just been recently realizing my love for her too. I wish I wouldn't have set you guys up in a way, then you wouldn't be so hurt right now. And I'm sorry for everything I've said and done to you." I put my hand out for him to shake in truce.
"Mate I had sex with your girlfriend, I'm sorry for all I've done." He takes my hand and pulls me into a hug patting my back.
"I've missed you Lou." I pat his back as well.
"Missed you too boy!" He breaks the hug and sends me a nod.
"Good to have you two back as mates. Now let's go win this thing!" Harry shouts as we all run out onto the field yelling.
We run out to see the bleachers filled with fans. I really hope Amber is here, last time I talked to her, she was coming. I hope to see her at halftime at least.

Amber"Nicole I'm nervous,-"
She scoffs interrupting me, "When are you not?"
"Okay, shut it. Anyways, I'm really nervous. What if Louis sees me and completely freaks? I don't want to ruin things."
"Oh gosh, what if Niall sees me? He'll be so distracted by my beauty and die!" She cackles at her own horrible sarcasm.
"Yeah, funny. He's your boyfriend, he may be distracted by you, but it's the kind that will make him want to win for you. Not the same situation."
She rolls her eyes at me and we take our seats on the cold bleachers. Nicole's long black hair is in a straight ponytail and she gets to wear Niall's jersey with his last name on the back and his number 39. I'm so jealous and wish I was wearing Liam's.
But no, I'm stuck in my plain old burgundy jumper from Pink that I've had for over two years now. I can still find the popcorn butter stain on the wrist from my very first date with this cute guy from my freshman year.
Yeah different story, he was a jerk, blah blah.
Even though Liam has been weird lately, I'll give him a break. I guess you can't force someone to like you, and if he doesn't like me then I'm heartbroken but have to accept it and move on.
I sigh aloud causing Nicole to turn towards me with a confused expression, "Whats gotten into you?"
"Liammmm." I whine and lay my head on her shoulder.
"Oh come on Amber, it's okay. If he's meant to be yours he will be. Someday." She places her arm around my shoulder and gives me a squeeze.
I sit up once I hear our school song playing. That means the players are about to come out. Everyone on the bleachers shoot up and start cheering for our team, including Nicole and I.
Our schools mascot is the Wolverines and right on cue big Walter the Wolverine comes running onto the field throwing his hands up wildly.
Soon the team is running out, and I find myself immediately searching for Liam, number 89.
Then I see him. In all his beauty, that bright smile pumped for the game and the thrill of the fans cheering for them. I could faint seeing it, I really could.
"Let's hear it for the Wolverines!" The announcer's voice blares through the speakers and the crowd cheers more. Nicole and I clap along, we're more on the quiet side of the student section, but that's okay.
As the boys are all running to their sideline and my eyes keep following Liam, I see him scan the crowd. His gaze suddenly meets mine. My cheeks flush red but I can't look away. He sticks a hand up and waves, at least I think it's to me?
I look around and then back at him seeing him laugh. I point at myself and mouth, "Me?"
With that I'm hit with a nod and another wave, which I return and smile. Then he goes over to his coach and other teammates. I shift my gaze off of him for .2 seconds and am immediately met with Louis' serious face.
"Crap." I whisper and look away quickly.
"Nicole, he sees me. He sees me." I panic grabbing her arm.
"Amber, it's okay. You just talked to him yesterday, everything's fine? Why are you worried?"
"I just don't want to ruin anything."
"How can you ruin the whole game for being here? He's going to have to see you in person as usual, he's fine like you are." She reassures and turns back to the game.
"Now, let's cheer for our boys!" She shouts and claps her hands wildly as the boys starters line the field.
