Midorima x Reader (Misunderstanding)

Walking to school is one of your daily routine for you want to save money and you want to see a certain *ehem* megane *ehem* on your way.

But surprisingly this is not one of those days.
You are standing in front of his house with eyes wide open and him standing there frozen from shock.

"Ah... Eh? Is.. Is that you,Midorima-kun?"

He composed his self and adjusts his glasses.

"Tch. Who else?"

"W.. What are you wearing. I mean, Why are you wearing that?" You asked pointing to his... Hmmm. How do I say this without sounding mean.. Ridiculous outfit.

"I.. It's my lucky item,nanodayo. Oha-asa said that wearing a frog costume will bring me good luck. See?" He handed you his phone contaning the list of zodiac sign and you read it.

"But aren't you a cancer? A frog costume is for capricorn, the one next to yours". He immediately grab his phone and looked at it again.

His face became a dark shade of red and he hurriedly went back his home.

After a few minutes he came back on his normal school uniform while holding a jar.

"W..what is that?"

"It's my lucky item. The real one. I misread my horoscope today,nanodayo" he looked away and clicked his tongue.

Your lips slowly form a smile and you suddenly burst out laughing.

"WAHAHA! You misread your horoscope and wore a frog costume! I'm gonna tell Takao! Wahaha!" You hold your stomach and fight the urge to roll on the floor.

"No! You would not do that! I will curse you if you do that!" He warned but you still won't stop laughing. You're not that close to him but who wouldn't laugh seeing a man in a frog costume with a serious face?

He grabs your arms and dragged you to school. He swore that on that day he would not leave your side so you won't tell anyone. So you are stuck with him all day which is not bad but the problem is you can't look him in the eyes without remembering the scene this morning.

Your professor said to pair up. You are about to call your friend when Midorima shouted and caught everyone's attention.

"(Y/N),IS GOING TO PAIR UP WITH ME!" he exclaimed and started blushing.

Your friend gave you a devilish grin before nodding slowly.

He walks towards you face down and sit across the chair.

"You want to pair up with me? Me? Are you aware that I don't participate in this kind of things? You're the only one that's gonna do all the work here." You raised an eyebrow and asked him but when you met his gaze you suddenly laugh!

"WAHAHA! I am so sorry! I'm gonne stop laughing now.. I'm gonna. WAHAHA! I can't stop!" You started to pound your table and your teacher scolded you.

"Is there something you would like to share us,Miss (Y/N)?" He asked then you composed yourself and aswered him "Nothing".

You two started the work.. Well he did but you tried to help.. Sort of..

You can't do the work he assigned you because it requires looking at him and you just can't.

"Tch. (Y/N), we can't finish our work if you don't pay attention" he said

"Why won't you look at me when I'm giving directions, nanodayo. I.. It's not like I want attention or anything"

"Do you want me to laugh again?" You asked and you hear him sigh.

Everyone's done except for the two of you and you think he is getting irritated.

The two of you are the only one left since everyone started going home and your project is due tomorrow.

"Everyone's gone now. You can laugh with all your might,nanodayo" he said and you slowly look at him and started laughing.

"WAHAHA! I still can't get over it! I can't believe you listen to everything Oha-asa say!" He tried to calm you down but every time he speaks you cut him off by laughing.

"Okay you can stop now" he said but you just can't.

"Sto--"

"WAHAHA!"

"He--"

"WAHAHA!"

"Tch you asked for it"

"WAHAHA--" you were cut off when you suddenly felt a soft lips on top of yours.

You covered your mouth when he lets go and stared at him.

"Now stay silent" he said and you nodded not knowing what he really said.

You were too shock that all you could do is nod and do as he say.

"Now sit there quietly while I do all the work since you're not really that much of a help" you again nodded and sit quietly still shocked from what he did. It was your first kiss! And it was stolen by your crush.

"Hey. Can we go on a date... Not that I like to, because I would love to" and for the third time you nodded without knowing what he said..

"Good"

"I love you,(Y/N)" you snapped out and that was the first thing you heard. You smiled gently and nod, but this time you're fully aware of what's happening.
