// IM SORRY FOR THE TIME JUMP :(( //

| Annabeth Chase |

The end of the year was coming around, summer finally opening up its doors. Exams were over, and everyone had passed! (Well, Percy and Leo only with my close guides assistance and tutoring.) We'd made so many good memories at Goode, but none of us knew whether Chiron and Mr D were enlisting us for another year.

Part of me hoped we were, the normal - mostly monster free - life was something I'd be able to get more and more used to. But at the same time I missed handling my sword, the Athena cabin, Camp Half Blood and everything there. I missed adventure. Sure, you have a sort if adventure at high school, but it's nothing like overcoming a Titan or a Giant, is it?

Either way, if we attended another year at Goode or not, we were all going back to Camp Half Blood for the summer. Leo was ecstatic to get back to Bunker 9, and I think Nico was happy to get back to solitude and his own peace and quiet. Both boys were still going to keep in contact with their girlfriends though, no matter what, they just weren't sure how yet.

I sat on my bed, packing away all my things into my suitcase and rucksack, when there was a knock at the door.

"Come in," I said absently, trying to find a place to fit in my framed photo of me and Percy outside his cabin.

"Hey, Wisegirl." Percy sauntered in and flopped himself down behind me on the bed, wrapping his legs around me so my back was leaning into my chest.

"I need to pack," I reminded him.

"Annabeeeeeeeth?" He asked, trying to act all sweet and innocent.

"What?" I asked, turning around and giving him a serious look.

"Can you help me pack?"

I huffed and blew a strand of hair out of my face. "Sure thing. What would you ever do without me?"

Percy grinned widely, before launching onto me and tickling me all over. I struggled against him, trying to suppress the need to laugh as he relentlessly tickled me. Managing to kick him off, I punched him in the shoulder.

"Stop distracting me!"

"With what?" he asked, running his hand through his hair. "My charming good looks and smile?"

"Oh, shut up." I snorted, allowing him to hug me and give me a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm so glad we overcame every obstacle this year." he sighed, wrapping his arms around my waist and snuggling his head into the crook of my neck.

"Did you think we wouldn't?"

"No, n, no! Of course I knew we would, but it just makes me happy that we did it how we did it... if you get what I'm saying? I feel like..."

"It made our relationship stronger?" I suggested.

Percy smiled and nodded. "Yes, exactly."

"I agree," I smiled back, leaning against him. Just as I was about to kiss him there was another knock at the door.

"Everybody decent?" called Leo from outside.

Percy chuckled, his chest vibrating against my back. "Yes, Leo."

Leo opened the door and came in, his hands over his eyes but peaking behind them anyway.

"What do you want?" I asked, kinda deflated that he'd interrupted us.

Leo dropped his hand when he saw we were both decent and smiled, relieved. "Put your bags in the hallway, we're leaving in half an hour. That is all. Now you can get back to your..." he gestured to Percy and I sitting on the bed. "whatever this is. But stay safe!"
