It wasn't really the routine, mental reminder that their alarms were about to go off for the day, or the sliver of light peeking through the curtain of her room, it was the stir of the boy beside her that awoke her first, and then the loss of warmth from him that made her eyes open. Blinking tiredly, Ramona's just beginning to sit up when both of their alarms go off simultaneously, effectively startling them both out of their exhausted dazes, since Eli was already sitting up he anxiously took off both alarms.

He turns, eyes locking with his girlfriends, "Sorry, I forgot I set that," he apologizes, sitting back on the bed as she hums, sleepily.

"So, did I," she shuffled over to him, laying her head on his lap, her hand reaching up to lock him in place. "It's only 5, right?"

"Yeah," Eli yawned out, settling next to her once again, happily, his hand coming down to stroke her hair as tenderly as possible, raking his fingers down to her scalp the way he knew she'd like. "I'm guessing you're not in the mood for a mile run, right now?"

"Ha," she lets out a sarcastic laugh, eyes still closed. "No."

He snorts out a humored sound. "I figured," he breathed out, before shifting downwards to lay back down with her, carefully bringing her up from his waist to his chest as he does. "Another hour wouldn't hurt, right?"

Ramona's hand makes its way up to his jaw, "Definitely not," she smiles, fondly up at him, his right arm having come around to envelope her into his side.

Her hand coming up to run through his loose hair, the tips of it the vibrant blue he dyed it. "You should wear your hair down a little more often, kinda miss doing this," she admitted, lips curving up as he closed his eyes.

"I thought you liked my mohawk," he pouted, one that didn't last long as he quickly succumbed to her touch.

"Oh, I do," she breathed, her finger grazing down to his jaw. "But, Eli is all mine. Hawk is for everyone else. Remember that," his eyes open to look at her as she taps his nose.

He gives her a lopsided grin, pulling her close. They fit together like a puzzle, made for the other. "Only for you. But, that would make you mine, wouldn't it?"

"Exactly," she breathes, humming a pleased sound, she leans up to press her lips to his. Closing their eyes to the feeling of one another, his hand on her waist and hers caressing the side of his face. Pulling away, she lays her head against him, they stare at one another, fondly, and Eli had never wanted anything more than to tell her how crazy in love he really was with her. With Ramona Lawrence.

Most days, he was waiting to wake up and this would all be a dream. A perfect dream. But, a dream nonetheless. But, then he'd see her. She'd walk right up to him, take his hand, let him kiss her and she'd kiss him back, he'd finally be that cool guy in school, the one with the badass mohawk and the smoking hot girlfriend. It was unreal, that it was all his reality.
