Early morning runs usually helped her clear her head

Early morning runs usually helped her clear her head.

She wasn't to sure if it was working right now though.

Jogging down the empty dirt path, kicking up loose rocks and soil with every step, she thought the sound of the rustle of the trees under the early morning wind, or even the pounding in her chest that she could practically feel in her ears, would've helped her frantic state of mind but it didn't.

Her horrible love life at the moment was all she could think of.

Or lack of said love life, she corrected her thoughts. Speeding up to a straight on sprint, Ramona took a turn down the hill this time, pretty much skidding down the smoothened road as she huffed out her effort, sweat blossoming along her skin, cooling to a chill as she cut through the air with ever stride.

It's been almost two weeks since her and Eli had unofficially broken up. Although, they'd never put it into words, and Eli never accepted it anyway.

Practice at Cobra Kai has been...awkward to say the least.

Everyone has pretty much noticed it too. Which makes it even more awkward.

Of course, the two of them still hang out when they can, usually around their friends, the days they'd spend with one another becoming almost non-existent and they were hardly ever alone together anymore.

Moments that she missed.

But, she wanted to just try and take it slow, let each other start from scratch...well, almost scratch. It was hard to start from the beginning when they were so far ahead in their relationship already, of course she'd caught herself kissing him goodbye once or twice when they'd leave from practice and he'd do nothing but lean in to receive it, hopeful to entice her to forget about the things that led up to not being together in the first place. But, she'd pull away, walk off, wish things were different and ignore the things he'd say to pull her back.

More than anything though she wanted him to hold her again, kiss her like he always had, falling asleep to old movies and blasting Metallica at 4 o'clock in the morning.

She missed it all.

And it was all she could think about.

So, when she makes her way down the hill, she's surprised to see Eli there, waiting. His eyes going up towards her as she finally made her appearance back down the way she had come, this trail was routine by now, they had run around this entire mountain trail a hundred times together, of course he knew she'd be here.

She could tell he ran all the way here, from the heavy breathing he was doing and the thin sheen of sweat that covered him right now. The first thing she noticed was the lack of his spiked hair, he didn't sport the mohawked style this time. Coming to her as Eli, instead of Hawk. He wore a pair of joggers and a black drop arm tank, that gave her a nice view of the side of his torso, those abs were definitely well-deserved. She missed those too actually.
