When dad left us, I was stood near him. I witnessed how much he loved me from the tears that dripped from his eyes and the smile plastered on his face. I gotta be strong, I reminded myself over and over again. Mom's state scared me the most, for the first few days she doesn't eat or speak. But as days passed by she has spoken just a few.
It's been nearly two months and mom had no improvement after that. I often see her crying alone in a room and zoned out, it makes me so sad to look at her. I wasn't doing well either and I guess it affected Yura. She still has the mind of a teenager and I think I scolded her more than she deserves to be due to the pressure I had on both the office and home.
I should have acted more mature, she sure doesn't have any idea how to handle these situations. I felt guilty. To put a break from all these problems and to calm all our minds and heart I decided to move to our village, where my grandma stays. My grandpa died long ago and our grandma refused to come with us to the city. She likes it there.
It's far better best than these cities, I hope that everyone would feel at ease once we reached there. I want to bring back my mom to normal, I couldn't stand all the stress anymore and so I should calm it down before everything goes down. I already messed it up with Yura.
Yura's exams were over and it was now the right time to work out my plan. I somehow made my mom accept my decision but Yura was too reluctant to come. And then it goes like, she tests my patience and as a result, I had to tell her strictly that she must listen. God! I didn't want to behave this way with her. She looked so miserable. I should make it all right soon.
Currently, we were on our way to the village in our car. I pulled it over to have dinner at a restaurant. Mom said she was not hungry but she anyways had some food for the sake of my words. Yura, she and food have a long-distance relationship, well a complicated one. She never declines to eat but she wouldn't eat much, I mean she eats food that would satisfy a baby's appetite. And it was another reason I scolded her. I know, I shouldn't have done that.
Mom sat inside the car after having food while I paid for it. I looked around but Yura was not in my sight, where did she go? I inquired some of the people about her and they told me that they saw a girl going towards the beach behind the restaurant. I rushed in that direction. She didn't even inform me! It makes me so mad.
I found her looking at the moon, she shrieked as the water grazed over her leg. I think it brought her to the real world. She looked around like a lost puppy. Oh, man! I am not mad anymore, I couldn't. It's been days since I had held her in my arms. I touched her shoulder which made her scream but I closed her mouth and made her relax.
We both didn't speak anything but stared at the beautiful moon. I sensed Yura looking at me often. I held her hand and took her back to the car. Once we entered I saw mom was already sleeping. I smiled at her and glanced at Yura, she sat near me in the front fiddling with her fingers. I know she is unhappy, I have to make it up all to her, I will.
................
I woke up mom and Yura when we reached my grandma's home. It's past 3.30 pm. My grandma's house was simple but elegant. I love it.
"Woah" Yura's voice made me twirl my head around to look at her. She's probably mesmerized by the elegance of this house. My mom directly went inside patting Yura's hair. Yura looked so gorgeous, her hair was all messy, and her cute reaction made me smile. I shook her from the daze she was in, "It's soooooo beautiful" she exclaimed smiling.
"Yeah, we can roam around after getting rest and refreshing," I said as I carried the luggage and strode towards my grandma's house. She smiled and followed behind me. I saw my grandma chatting with my mom. She is such a lovely woman. She had attended our wedding and left for her village soon due to some issues. We didn't disclose Dad's condition to Grandma when she came to our marriage. Her son-in-law's death was a great shock to her. She attended the funeral and stayed with us for a little while and then again left for her village.
She was quite mysterious but in a good way. She greeted us both and hugged me. "Grandma..how are you?" Yura asked her as soon as she released me from the hug. "Good ma," she said and pulled Yura into a hug.
After talking with grandma I went into my room with Yura. "I will bath first" she rushed past me but I caught her wrist and pulled her into my chest. "I m sorry Yura," she didn't reply but held me tightly. " Please don't scold me again," she said in a whisper and it broke my heart more than she could imagine. " I won't again" I assured her and kissed her forehead.
She shivered at my lips contact and that's when I realized how much physically we hadn't interacted for months. I traced my fingers on her neck soon replacing it with my lips, she gasped and held onto my shoulder. I grabbed her hair as I pressed my lips against hers.
I backed her up against the wall soon deepening the kiss. Her whining and gasping voice made me so turned on. I kissed and nibbled all over her neck, her gasp became moan when I used my tongue on her skin.
As I went more down she pulled me back and kissed my cheeks, she rushed into the bathroom leaving me all hot and turned on. Oh shit! I hate when this happens. I placed a red saree on the bed and asked her to wear it. She shouted okay from the bathroom. I laid on the bed scrolling through my phone.
"Yura! did you settle down there or what!? gosh," She suddenly unlocked the door and came out in her robe. She blushed as I looked at her. "What were you doing there for this long" I exclaimed as a went past her to get a cold shower. I saw her razor in there, oh! that's why she took so long...hmm.
I got ready and exited my room. Yura went to grandma asking her to help drape the saree cause she doesn't know how to. I paused in my tracks and I felt my heart skip a beat as she stood smiling. Red suits her so well. I couldn't divert my eyes from her. I heard someone clearing their throat, it was my grandma! Her eyes held a tint of a smile though she tried her best to keep herself cool.
I scratched my neck feeling awkward, I went out motioning Yura to follow me behind outside. I sighed as I looked at Yura. "Shall we go?" she asked as she locked her hand in mine. "Sure" I replied brushing my nose against hers.
