Heartless Love

CHAPTER 39:

"The Engineer in charge was me, Eng. Kiel Evangelista," he said. "I understand. Ryleigh told me, and I didn't inquire." sagot ko sa kanya.

"Can we talk, Architect? I have to tell you something, Arch. Laurent." Napataas naman kilay ko sa kanya. When someone called my name, I recognized Celeene's voice and approached her, smiling.

"Hi, babe missed you"

Napangiti naman ako sa kanya. "What brings you here, Babe? I though you have shoot today" sabi ko sa kanya. Napalingon naman si Eng. Evangelista kay Celeene at ngumiti siya kay Eng. Evangelista na para bang walang nangyari. 

"Eng. Evangelista, It's been a long time since I've seen you!!" naka ngiting sabi ni Celeene at ngumiti, ngumiti din si Kiel sa kanya at nakipag beso pa. I rolled my eyes to him. "Celeene, long time no see" tipid na sabi ni Kiel. hindi na nagsalita si Eng. Evangelista at humarap lang siya sa akin at ngumiti ng onti.

"We're leaving now," Eng. Evangelista interrupted our talk.

I made my way to the front entrance, where all of my belongings were. I swung my carry-on over my shoulder and pulled my sunglasses from my pocket, placing them on my head. I waited for Celeene to go since I had no idea where to go. He took my hands in his and headed out the glasses double doors.

"You're going already!" said the receptionist. I approached her, my bags trailing behind me. "I'm quite confident I'll be back soon," I responded, letting out a giggle. "What's your name, by the way?" I inquired as I smiled at her.

"Jamilla," she whispered meekly as she looked down. "Hey, is anything wrog?" I inquired, peering down at her. "No, it's only that I was wondering if you could take pictures with me," she added, her eyes bright. 

"Oh sure," I said with a smile. "Hey, babe, could you snap a photo of us?" I inquired. He nodded and approached us, and I handed him Jamilla's phone.

She stepped out from behind her desk and walked alongside me. I put on my sungglasses after lowering them. She was shorter than I was. Because I was 5'10, she was probably approximately 5'2 and I wrapped her arms around my waist. We turned around and smiled broadly at the camera. Celeene took a few shots before returning Jamilla's phone.

"We have to go right now, Trice." tumango lang ako sa kanya.

Pag dating namin sa room hotel ni Oliver masyado malaki yung unit niya pero maganda dn yung ga design. pag pasok ko sa room nag shower lang agad ako tapos ginawa ko yung routine ko.

I took off my garments, took off my make-up, and walked in. The warmth of the water felt good on my chilled skin. I bathed my hair as well as my body. I walked outside twenty minutes later and got one of the extra towels Oliver said I could use. I wrapped a towel around my hair to keep it from soaking. I wore my bra and a black sando with a high weist short. I removed the towel from my head and set it on the counter.

Kinabukasan,

Bumalik na kami sa France agad ako dumiretso sa house ko. Pag pasok  ko  palang nakita ko si Celeene nag luluto sa kitchen napangiti naman ako.

"I'm back" nakangiting sabi ko.

Tumango lang si Celeene sa akin. "So kamusta meeting?" Tanong ni Celeene sa akin. "Okay lang naman settle naman na lahat" naka ngiting sabi ko. Agad ako dumiretso sa kwarto ni Felize.

Naabutan ko natutulog si Felize agad ako lumapit kay Felize at hinalikan sa noo at lumabas din kaagad ako at nag palit ako ng damit. Nag paalam ako kay Celeene sa friday pa ako makakauwi kase may celebrating event kami, I've spent almost the entire evening having read about the new project; it's a large beach resort that will take years to complete. The Engineer was assigned to one of our Engineers, but Ryleigh informed me that the Engineer had changed.
