After the incident at the elevator Yibo and Zhan both went seperate ways towards their homes
"Zhanzhan?"Yanli called our for Zhan while knocking at Zhan's room
"Come in jiejie"Zhan replied and Yanli went inside and went to take a seat beside Zhan in his bed
"Hey?care to tell me what's bothering you?"Yanli asked his brother and Zhan looked at him and immediately looked down and bent his knees
"Jie it's hard,it's hard for me to know whether I still love him,I'm so confuse,I'm even more confuse now if I'm ready to get married with Xuan"Zhan explained while still hiding on his knees
Yanli patted his brothers head and embraced him
"I'm sorry if I can't do anything to make you feel better Zhanzhan,I too feel like you still love Yibo,why don't you let him explain his side"Yanli said while caressing Zhan's hair and kissed it
"I don't know if I could ever talk to him about our past,it still hurts jie you were there,Cheng was there when it happened and it even happened infront of me"Zhan said and Yanli could feel that his brother was crying so he tried to coax him and embrace him tightly
"It's ok don't cry,what about focusing on Xuan?if you're not really ready to marry him you could extend it"Yanli said to his brother
"It's not that I'm ready jie it's just that.......I think he's not really the one for me,I don't know why I feel comfortable with him it's like he could be a good friend to me and I know Jiyang likes him a lot but Xuan kept saying he loves me and I could feel that but then there's Yibo showing up again after 3 years,I even finished my studies in abroad so that I could work with dad's company and he also did that just to be an artist"I said "I don't know if I could talk to him without tearing up,without being such a pity person,I'm tired too jie"Zhan said to his sister
"If you could feel that you still love him then why won't you talk to him?what if the whole incident was a misunderst—-"I cut her off
"No!how could that be an misunderstanding!he cheated on me while I was away with Dad from another country,I trusted him that he won't do such thing that he....he'll only marry me when we could tell both of our families but he...he hurt me jie"Zhan said while crying,Zhan couldn't handle to not let his tears fall but still it betrayed him,he cried pity fully on his shijie's arms and Yanli couldn't do anything but just cry with him
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you from pain in the past Zhanzhan but right now I won't let anything happen to you again,I promised mom I will always protect you" Yanli said in her mind while she hugged her brother tightly
When Zhan feel asleep because of too much crying,Yanli put her down slowly on his bed and kissed his forehead
"Shijie's always here for you Zhanzhan,don't worry about anything"Yanli said and went out of Zhan's room just to find Xuan getting out of his room to check on Zhan
"Jie?I heard Zhan crying is everything fine?"Xuan asked
"Ahm yes everything's fine we were just talking about mom and he fell sleep don't worry go to sleep now"Yanli said
"Ok if you say so,goodnight Yanli jie"Xuan said,Yanli nodded at him and they both went to their rooms
It's already morning and Yibo woke up with a frown face,he kept dreaming about the way Cuan hugger Zhan,and he still couldn't forget about it
"He may be my ex now but I still will fight for him!,I came to think about it,I know he doesn't really love Xuan" Yibo thought to himself and remembered the way he talked with his mother last nigt
