Pilot of Remnant (RWBY)

Chapter 16

After waking up in Glynda's room, you kissed her goodbye and made your way to your room before anyone else in the teacher's building woke up. After getting there, you got out of your clothes from the day before and you took a quick shower before getting your flight suit on. After eating something for breakfast, you meet up with JNPR and RWBY to head up to the colosseum to watch the start of the Vytal Festival tournament. Before long, RWBY left to go get prepared for their match. You watch the fight along side of JNPR as RWBY takes on their opponent, team ABRN, in the 4v4 round. Really you are watching the fight more than listening to Oobleck or Port who are the announcers.

Port: *On speakers* For those of you just now joining us, welcome to the Vytal Festival Tournament! Broadcast live, from the Amity Colosseum.

Tuning back out the same thing that they have been repeating for practically the whole tournament, you turn your attention to the fight again.

Pyrrha: How do you think they are doing?

Y/N: Not half bad. They are first years so it is to be expected that they will make some mistakes. ABRN on the other hand is doing a lot poorer job than I thought they would have.

Pyrrha: Why is that?

Y/N: I went and gave them assistance when they were on a mission. Stupid massive concentration of Grimm. I met them for a brief moment but they at least looked like they could handle themselves. Especially seeing as they were given that mission without a huntsman to go with them. Now keep watching. Mark my words, it will be over in the next minute.

Turning your attention back to the screen, you keep watching as Weiss gets the brown haired guy away from behind Ruby. Not too long after, the skateboard girl got knocked out of the arena by Blake.

Y/N: That was certainly one way to do it. Very good use of her semblance and her weapon.

Finally, RWBY manages to take out the rest of ABRN with a rather interesting use of them working together.

Port: *Speakers* And that's the match! Team RWBY is victorious!

Pyrrha stands up and walks with her team to meet RWBY and you follow along. Meeting them down in the fair grounds, you see Blake slumped over the counter as a bowl of fish is taken away from her while Weiss has a frustrated look. 

Weiss: What? How can my card be declined? I was barely into my monthly allowance.

Y/N: I guess the Schnee family fortune has finally dried up. You know, Scrooge McDuck would never have had this problem. 

Weiss: Oh shut up. I'm sure there was just some issues that will be sorted out in no time. Besides, who is this Scrooge McDuck?

Y/N: Cartoon character from back home. They literally had to make up a number for how rich the character is. Now, how about I handle paying for the food?

After eating a bit, you walk back with JNPR and sit down in the stands with RWBY joining in shortly after while JNPR gets ready for their match. The match has started and with a few minor hiccups, you are actually quite impressed with how Jaune handled it. Once again things could be ironed out, but that was already known in Jaune's case. Shortly after, SSSN and NDGO fought but you were too busy thinking about who you would be fighting to pay attention. You actually ended up falling asleep in your seat while the fight was going on. Finally, Pyrrha shook you and pointed to the screen with Oobleck and Port.

Oobleck: *Speakers* Normally we would end the matches for today right here. But we have a treat for you. An extra fight! This next fight will be a rather interesting one indeed! It is not only a first for Beacon, but a first for the whole of Remnant!
