" Alright, lets go over what we do know." Emily offers as the team gathers around the small table on the jet. Spencer and Y/n stood close to each other, leaning against JJ's seat as everyone grabs a file.
It had been about a week and a half since Spencer showed up to Y/n's apartment unannounced, she seemed to not be as depressed but still just as jumpy and stressed as ever. He still hasn't managed to get out of her what happened the night she ran out of his apartment. They haven't hung out since then either, Spencer has invited her out for coffee a few time but she always just says she cant. She seems super uncomfortable and distant from most males now that he thinks about it.
Anderson tried giving her a hug the other day and she basically ran away. Shes not as distant from Luke and Spencer but shes definitely not the same.
" The file you all have contains information on 22 year old Emily Grains, she was raped in her home last night after getting home from a night club. All of the following victims said they had just gotten home from a night club as well before they were raped." Emily explains.
Spencer notices how Y/n's body tenses when Emily reads the file out loud. His heart breaks for her knowing her past with sexual assault. He puts his hand on her shoulder, watching as she flinches at first but eases into his touch.
"So he didn't even try to murder them? Could this have something to do with the mental torture he puts these women through?" Matt chimes in.
Emily nods, " Yeah, I mean its possible he doesn't rape them for the sexual release he gets but for seeing the women's lives fall apart after he does it."
" I'm going to take a bathroom break, one moment." Y/n says, walking away from the group. Emily rolls her eyes and continues to talk to the group about where they will be going when they land.
"Reid," Emily calls, " I want you and Y/n to go to the police station with Garcia, see if you can come up with a profile."
Spencer nods, clearing his throat, " Yeah, okay."
"Luke, since you've been back for almost a week I suppose I can let you go talk to Grains. Ill show you some grace and let you out of the office for a little bit." She adds, knowing Luke would protest to anything else.
