"Okay, just calm down." Spencer demands, following Y/n around his apartment as she frantically grabs her things.
"No! We can't waste even a second not looking for him. He's insane Spence. There's no telling when he'll strike on me or my mom." She begins pulling on her shoes while balancing on one foot, she ties them quickly before running back into their bedroom.
Last night, Y/n told Spencer about her murderous dad and he's still shocked to say the least. He hasn't been given an answer on why she kept this from him and the team but he sort of gets it. Her dad murders her sister and attempts at murdering her mother all while shes at school, no one would just openly share that.
Spencer told her to just get some sleep and they would handle it in the morning. Well it's the next morning and he has no idea how to handle the situation when she's being like this. She's been running around trying to get ready for thirty minutes now so she can go pick up her mom and bring her to the team; she can't drive in this state of mind. The look in her eyes tells him she could strangle someone but also break down and start sobbing any second.
"Are you coming or not? Because either way i'm going, i'm not just leaving my mom in a random hotel that he could easily find her at." She questions, holding her keys in her hand.
Spencer glances at the ground then back up to her out-of-it eyes. "Lovely-"
"Don't 'lovely' me. If you don't give me a yes or no answer in the next three seconds i'm leaving without you." She demands.
Spencer knows the only reason shes still standing here is because she really doesn't want to go alone. "I'll go with you, but i'm driving" He replies, gently prying the keys from her hands. She lets out a sigh and drops her arms in defeat but ultimately agrees.
They walk- she basically runs down to her car. Spencer unlocks the door just as she reaches the car. She sits in the passenger seat and waits for Spencer to get into the drivers seat before calling Prentiss. Before they can just bring a random woman into the BAU and tell the team about a possible new case, they obviously have to have permission.
The phone rings a few times before Emily answers, "Y/n? You don't have have work for another two hours, what's wrong?" She questions in a concerned voice.
Spencer liked that the two had finally made up. After she found out that Matthew really did do all the things he was imprisoned for, she apologized and they moved on.
