Reader's POV
It had been a few hours since you woke up from the 'nap' you and Spencer took on the very uncomfortable hospital bed. You had both ended up sleeping throughout the night, Emily thankfully didn't seem bothered by it considering she's still trying to make it up to you for throwing water on you at the bar.
The team has been extremely kind and helpful though this whole thing. JJ and Garcia have been bringing you gifts left and right, Garcia has brought you fluffy pillows and two stuffed animal sloths, ever since she found out that was your favorite animal she has been spoiling you with them. You have at least five sloth mugs now.
Luke and Spencer have basically not left your side. The only time you don't see them is when your using the bathroom or sleeping. That's about it.
"Ah look who's finally awake!" Garcia cheers, rushing into the room with the rest of the team following. Spencer immediately plops himself down in the chair next to your bed before Luke can, Luke smacks him across the head.
"Ow!" Spencer shouts, "Y/n! He just hit me!"
"Boys behave, i'm too focused on the coffee in JJ's hands to care about your shenanigans." You reply, a thankful smile on your face as JJ hands you one of the two coffee cups in her hands. Luke smirks at Spencer, a winning look on his face.
Emily makes her way through the small crowd of your friends and to the foot of your bed, you stare up at her nervously. "I know JJ talked to you about you walking us through what happened Monday. If you don't feel comfortable that is perfectly okay but we could really use your help." She says in a soft voice, making you not so uptight.
You nod, "I... can try? I'm not sure i'll remember much though." You fiddle with your shaky fingers, feeling everyone's eyes on you. You feel a slight sense of calmness as Spencer grabs one of your hands to stop them from shaking.
The corners of Emily's lips turn up slightly, "Well, i'll allow you to pick two or three people out of the team to help walk you through the process. They may help you remember and being with those you love always helps calm the nerves."
You take a breath in, looking around at your coworkers who have slowly become your friends. Your eyes travel from Matt to Rossi, then to JJ's welcoming face.
