Chapter 24-Moving Into A New Home

Carrie and Jacquai returns home from school where they will ask their father the things that they did from school before they can return to their room to have more fun first then, to do the homework that their teachers had given them during their school time starts.

On the room. They are playing pillow fight at their beds for the rest of the afternoon and at the early night.

Later.... At the kitchen on the early night. Their mother is at the kitchen area looking at the cookbook because she needs a plan on what to cook there before she can get started with the cooking on the choice that she wants to go for.

Her choice will be the Traditional Meat Loaf. She prepare the ingredients on the list before she is allowed to do all of the steps that is it said from the cookbook.

The first step is to preheat the oven after cutting all of the pieces on the said size so that the cooking process will speed up and will not eat dinner late. While the oven is heating. The oven's wires begins to spark which she will cause to exclaim before she snaps her finger so that it will make it work again.

"Honey," Her husband questions her, "Is there something."

"Check the oven," She tells him to check the oven because that thing isn't working, "That thing won't work while I'm supposed to heat that thing so that I can place my bread there for the fast cooking speed."

"And then, what's next?"

"Place the ingredients on the large bowl before I can stir it before adding the meat there for the mixing so that I can transfer it to the pan afterwards."

"Okay. And what will be the next step?"

"Mix some small glazed in the small bowl with the loaf to be spread before baking it within 60-70 minutes only. Stand this one for just 10 minutes before I can make a slice at it before serving it immediately."

"Okay those steps are simple. Let me fix the oven for you while you do the steps that is said on the cookbook."

"Right." She goes to the table to continue the cooking process while her husband will head to the oven just to make a check on that before he can start fixing it as soon as possible.

She slices the bread into two first before he can place it on the plate before he can get the large bowl at the storage area where he will place all of the ingredients that she has on the table before she can mix it for the beef to add there after the mixing process is complete. The mixing process is repeated where she will place the beef first before she can mix it lightly so that she can transfer it at the pan after the mixing process is complete.

While she is mixing the bowl for the beef. Her husband begins to exclaim that the oven is on fire where she stands out of her chair after he drops the oven with full of shock because the item that he is holding is hot.

He exclaims that the kitchen is now on fire because the fire can spread everything all-over the place if they don't do something about it.

The girls on their room sense something hot which the girls must go downstairs very quickly as soon as possible because if they stay at the room very long. Then, the girls' feet will begin to jump up to the ceiling that they sense that this floor is completely hot.

"Mom, Dad," Carrie questions her parents, "What's going on there?"

"The whole is on fire," Their mother tells them that the kitchen is on fire with shock, "Get your stuff at your room and get out of the place."

"But, the floor is hot."

"Just go and get out of here."

The girls go upstairs to their room before getting all of their stuff at their room as well as their parents before they all leave the house very quickly or else they will be trap at the fire without any firemen to rescue them.

They all get out of the house and stay outside for the rest of the night where they will watch the firemen extinguishing the fire using the water from the hose attached at the water area on the sidewalk's area.
