I had my duffle bag ready and packed full of clothes and books and my Nintendo switch and whatnot. I made my way to the garage where Tony was loading All the sleeping bags, tents, and other gear into the trunk of a nice red pick up truck that u had no idea he had.
"You bag ready to go?" He asked turning to me.
"Yeaup" I replied and He nodded to set the bag down with a pile of other bags. I set it down and made my way to the kitchen. Steve and Clint were packing food.
"Y'all need help?" I asked.
"Yea that'd be great, pick out whatever snacks you want." Steve said.
"Okie dokie" I replied and made my way to the pantry. I grabbed goldfish, pringles, kettle chips, jersey, M&M's and other stuff. I put it all into a tote bag. I then ran back to the garage and stuck it in the front seat of the car I'd be in. I went back inside and packed drinks and games. Eventually everyone else finished their packing and we were all in the garage. I hopped into the red pick up with Tony, Wanda, Peter and Bruce. Steve, Nat, and Clint all got in the black pickup truck. Tony put on his driving playlist, aka allll AC/DC and Santana. I sat in the back, Peter was in the middle seat, I was behind the passenger seat and Wanda was behind the driver seat and then of course Bruce took shotgun. I grabbed peters hand and squeezed it and I could see him smile slightly. We drove for hours and then pulled into a Burgerville. We grabbed some burgers, milkshakes, and fries, YUM.

We eventually pulled up to a nice little camp ground. Settled nicely in the woods. Trees surrounded a beautiful brilliant blue lake. Birds sang while soaring through the sky above. The wind tickled the leaves hanging from the oak trees. Tony stopped the car and we all jumped out of the vehicle. I breathed in and I could just smell and taste the crisp air around me. I walked over and grabbed my bag out of the bed of the pickup. Peter went over to set up his tent and then he volunteered to set mine up for me too while I set the picnic dinner table up for us. All the sudden I heard One Of These Nights by The Eagles blast on a speaker behind me. I turned to look and Tony's suit was standing there as he was tryna build a fire. I rolled my eyes as he got increasingly more upset over the fact that his fire wouldn't light. Then I continued to set up camp. The day slowly started the pass more and more as the sun slowly went down. The fire crackled from the fire pit (Tony got it to light but only with the help of Bruce...aka Bruce did it all) Steve strutted towards the picnic table.
"Hey you want to help me cook up dinner?" Steve asked.
"Hmmm what're we having?" I replied.
"I was going to shoot for burgers." He said confidently while pulling out a little camping grill.
"Yeah why not-I'll cut the veggies." I smiled at him and he nodded.

The other avengers all sat around the fire while chatting and watching the sunset. I chopped onions, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese while Steve cooked the burgers next to me. Eventually all the food was prepared and we called the avengers over. They took their little paper plates and put together their burgers. Wanda was trying a new Vegan diet so she was eating veggies on just a bread bun. Tony of course out three burger Patties on one bun. The difference huh-
We took our food and gathered around the fire again. The water lapping the shore of the lake droned on quietly over the sounds of the super hero's laughing. Peter sat next to me. The fire made his face glow a beautiful gold. Gosh he's beautiful.

Hours later, Tony and Bruce and Nate all sat around the fire. The others had got into their tents and gone to bed. I ventured out of my tent and walked towards the lake. It was cool out, I had to put a warm hoodie on with my joggers. Someone was sat on a log on the shore, the close I got the more I realized who it was.
"Mind if I sit?" I asked hesitantly, not wanting to disturb his peace.
"Please, go ahead." Peter smiled.
I crawled onto the log next to him. He just sat staring at the lake under the dim moonlight. I looked up to the sky and attempted to count the stars above but there were too many.
"I just love stars." I commented while admiring them. In my peripheral vision I could see Peter turn to look at me, he smiled, no he grinned widely. I turned to look at him and make eye contact.
"Me too." He said smiling.
I could barely see his facial features but they shown beautifully anyways. I felt his hand cup my cheek softly. He drew me in close enough that I could feel his breath on my lips. He smelled like s'mores from the campfire. He slowly leaned in enough for our lips to touch. Instinctively I leaned in the deepen the kiss, I put my hand up and tangled it in his soft and curly hair. The kiss wasn't a long one but it was a good one. We both pulled away and just smiled. He took my hand and grasped it tightly as we both turned to face the lake. A moment later I felt Peter lay his head upon my shoulder. I then rested my head on his.
