"Hey love," I heard a voice say and I turned around. I saw Romeo setting a tray full of chicken nuggets down on the lunch table.
"Romeo?" I asked shocked....what's going on...
"You ok sweetheart?" He asked full of concern.
How was I back at hydra? Why was Romeo alive....
"AHHHH (Y/N)!!!!" I heard a girl yell and I turned to the doorway and there was Lindsey running towards me with open arms and....Jackson following behind her. I stood up and Lindsey hugged me full of excitement. My eyes though, we're glued on Jackson.
"You ok...?" Jackson asked as he approached me. My eyes filled with tears. I lunged towards the boy and I wrapped my arms around him so tight I'm sure he almost exploded.
"Hey hey what's going on?" Jackson asked as he ran his hand through my hair while he hugged me back.
"I missed you so much Jackson." I replied.
"Huh?" Romeo replied to my comment.
"Why do you miss me? We literally saw eachother yesterday. Now ok did you guys happen to hear about the sighting today?!" Jackson asked as he stepped away from our hug and sat down.
"Yea I heard they saw Iron Man!" Romeo replied and I sat down next to him. Almost immediately Romeo slung his arm around my shoulder.
"What...?" I audibly wondered.
I sat there and thought to myself, did I really dream everything that happened? Did it never happen...?
"Let's go for a walk alright?" Jackson said as he stood up while only looking at me.
"Don't make any moves there jack" Romeo playfully commented and lightly punched Jacks arm.
"Oh I will!" Jackson replied.

I stood up and followed Jackson to the roof. He sat down and dangled his legs over the roof and so did I. We looked out over the forest in front of us...how beautiful it was. The birds sang their tunes and the sun shone through the clouds barely. The branches rustled from the wind as it was designed to do. The beauty, the simplicity of it all. This wasn't a dream and I could tell. The way the concrete of the roof felt on my finger tips and the way the sun warmed my face but the wind made my face cold again. All of it...it was real this time...wasn't it...

"So what's going on?" Jackson asked.
"Well...this is going to sound crazy..." I started.
"We have superpowers, how much crazier can it get?" He laughed his perfect laugh and his face lit up.
"True..." I replied and continued to wonder.
"Come on now, tell me" he nudged me.
"Ok ok well....so there was a sighting and the avengers showed up and we fought them....you died from it...but then I eventually escaped and I joined the avengers and life was going so well I finally felt like I belonged....like I was home...but then I woke up here...away from it all. I met a boy named Peter and he was the boy of my dreams and I met a man named Tony and he became what I imagine having a father is like and...and...it was amazing..." I trailed off, no emotions showed on my face.
"Woah..." Jackson commented, no emotion on his face either.
"I know it sounds insane." I said and I buried my face in my hands. Jackson wrapped his arm around me.
"No it doesn't...it sounds amazing (y/n)...who knows maybe it was a see to the future kind of thing but this time make sure I don't die and make sure you take me with you. We'll get out of here together ok? Like we always promised." Jackson said. I closed my eyes.

I opened my eyes and felt an arm around my shoulders but instead I felt no warmth. I heard no birds singing and no voice talking. I looked around, I saw my head was laid upon Peters chest. Except peters arm was not around me...but somehow I still felt Jackson's arm. I exhaled a breath of relief and then felt a drop of water hit my hand. A tear. I was crying. I didn't care at this point though because I knew it had been a dream. Thank the heavens.
"Wakey wakey!" Bucky said as he stormed into the living room. Peters eyes slowly opened up.
"Whaaaaat it's like 8 in the morning." Peter complained as he pulled his phone out.
"Steve found our guy." Bucky said.
"Wait what?!" Peter said standing up immediately causing me to fall onto the couch more.
"Yea so chop chop get ready." Bucky said then he left the room.
"Give me a moment," I said and took off towards my room. I sat down and pulled out a crisp, new piece of paper. I pulled out my favorite pen.
Dear Jackson,
I miss you. I miss you everyday. You helped shape me into who I am today and you taught me never to give up. I'm here, I'm safe. And if you were alive I would make sure you'd be safe too. I know I'm the only one who completed our promise but when I die protecting our names and all those who were affected by hydra then I promise we'll be together again. Best friends for awhile and siblings forever.
Sincerely (y/n)
I folded the letter and put it into an envelope and then I hid it in a desk drawer. It was my closer, my goodbye. I know he's never going to read it but I didn't give a shit because I would pretend that he got it. I then put on my suit and got ready.
