"We won't find any ropes?" Emma accusingly shrieked as they ran down the deserted hallway. They left Y/n and Nezuko to hang around their other friends since what they were talking about seemed like a large issue.

It wasn't a problem. Norman and Emma could do this alone.

"Yeah. Since you know, people typically wouldn't need ropes to live a normal life," Norman opened the door and entered, searching the storage room for the so-called 'ropes' while Emma kept watch outside.

He's right! Emma mentally screeched.

"But... If it's that, we should be able to find it right here in this house."

"Found it!"

Emma and Norman lifted up the bottoms of their shirts as fabric they had taken from the storage unravelled from being tightly tied to their bodies. Nezuko and Y/n gawked at them as they explained they made 'ropes' out of tablecloths.

"These are our ropes! Let's bag them up!" Emma enthusiastically climbed the tree as Y/n fished out the bag Norman told her to bring.

"You guys cut them with a knife from the kitchen? You could've just asked for my army knife," Y/n stared at the edges that were obviously cut by amateurs.

"You have an army knife?!" Norman turned to the h/c haired girl and stared with wide, sapphire eyes. Emma almost fell from the tree.

"She stole one from a shop," Nezuko lied, chuckling at the end. "She's had one for as long as I've remembered."

Y/n tossed the bag up to the mandarin haired girl who caught it and tucked it into the hole in the tree, sliding it to the back so it was hidden from a normal person's sight.

"This is a good place?" Obanai inquired, searching around the empty clearing that was hidden by a thick wall of bushes and trees. It reeked of petrichor and smelled damp, confirming it hadn't been touched in a while. It would serve issues for Rengoku, but it was the perfect place for Muichiro.

"Yep! Good for training and it has a hollowed-out rock for us to put our katanas in!" Tanjiro waved to the rock that was a size big enough to hold two people inside. Mitsuri approached it, holding three katanas – one without a blade (Shinobu's), one light magenta (Y/n's) and one dark blue (Giyuu's).

Zenitsu placed his and Mitsuri's inside while the six other people placed theirs inside too. "Have you ensured this place is safe? Like, Mama doesn't check it at all?"

"Yep!" Mitsuri chirped as Inosuke played with the giant moss blanket lying on top. "Plus, the moss that Inosuke's playing with can be used to drape over the rock and hide our katanas."

"We can't escape here to train too regularly or our cover will be blown," Muichiro stared around, examining the 'training' area they had.

"The children always want to play with us! So, we'll have to go in groups, preferably in two groups so one can stay up and play with the children and the rest can spar here!" Rengoku stood up valiantly, trying not to smell the retched stench of rotting, moulded wood.

"YAHHH! I WANT TO TRAIN EVERY TIME!" Inosuke screeched before Zenitsu clamped a hand over the boy's mouth.

"Shh!!! We can't be too loud!" Zenitsu hushed him, gripping Inosuke to stop him from thrashing about.

"This place is deep in the forest," Muichiro declared before his eyes turned misty again. "Wait... what was I going to say again?"

"No sound should make it outside," Rengoku completed for the 14-year-old. "Let's spar!"
