The Botanic gardens of Zariya Kingdom are described to be one of the most serene and most precious belongings to the entire kingdom. For centuries, its beauty has been preserved and protected, believed to have been spelled by the kingdom's first ruler. A strange phenomenon always left guests relaxed and well-rested after visiting the Kingdom's Garden within the castle walls. It just so happened to be the Queen of Zariya's favorite place to be during pregnancy. "Oh! Will be careful not to touch the roses! You know how sharp their thorns are!" The Queen yelped as her four-year-old son, Wilbur, waved his hands within the rose bushes. He loved the feeling of the soft petals, the smell of fresh roses and sweet peonies. Wilbur stumbled back and laid down on the floor to stare up at the clear blue sky. Everything always looked so much more beautiful from this place. The Queen giggled as she held her newborn.
"Will! Don't look directly into the sun! Your eyes will catch on fire and your brain will explode!" A much deeper voice called out from behind the queen. The boy shrieked and rolled over as he rubbed his eyes in panic. The Queen stifled a laugh, "Phil! You're going to scare your son to death if you continue filling his head with nonsense!" She scolded playfully as her husband, the king, sat down next to her, "Only way to keep him outta trouble!" The King jested as he took the newborn and held him up to the sky, "Tubbo's eyes are just as radiant as yours my love" He breathed out, lowering the child and caressing him. The Queen sighed and looked down at her yet again pregnant stomach, "You know... I have a strong feeling this one is going to be a boy again"
"Really? Thought you said it'll be a girl"
"Well yes but it feels as if something has shifted. I'm sure of it" the Queen grinned as she looked up at her husband, "Was the meeting canceled? Why'd you come back so early?" The Queen asked, "Oh Kristen.. you know.." King Philza trailed off.
The Queen frowned, "Are they still stalling?" She asked. The king nodded, "Rumor has it the royal family of Fremoor had a son a few months before Tubbo came. They probably wanna spend some time with him before they continue with their attacks" he explained. For centuries, the Kingdom of Zariya and the Kingdom of Fremoor have been at war with neither side showing signs of giving up. Sometimes the people didn't even know why they were at war with one another. Kristen has suggested countless times for a peace treaty to be sent out, but time and time again Philza had denied his wife's request. It was simply too risky. Ever since he was a child, he was taught to never trust the people of Fremoor. "The Queen.." Philza continued, "She passed shortly after her son's birth". Kristen let out a small gasp. She knew they were enemies, but she felt that pain deep down as a mother, "That's terrible.. The poor king.. He must be in pain.." She breathed out. She then adjusted herself to sit up. "It is... but as horrible as that is, it gives us time to train our soldiers even more. And to prepare them with ease." Philza thought out loud. He felt terrible, taking advantage of the king's sorrow like this but this was the great responsibility and sorrow of his position.
"Phil.." The Queen whispered, somewhat repulsed by her husband's words, "I will not have my children living a life of constant war and bloodshed."
The king sighed and looked over at his son who was chasing a butterfly. He had promised himself to end the war the second he became king, but as the years passed, he could only wish it was that simple. "Kristen I.." The king breathed in, "Now is not the right time, but I promise... I will put an end to this war during my reign. I promise you this my love, not only as your husband... but as the King of Zariya as well." King Philza vowed as he peered over at his son, "For Wil, for you, for Tubbo.." he then placed a hand on the Queen's pregnant stomach, "and for him as well"
