It wasn't hard for Wilbur, Ranboo, and Tommy to hear yelling and loud clashing from a floor below them. It was without a doubt, King Philza and Dimitree. They were silent as they stared at the staircase that lead down. This was it. "Dad said he wanted to kill King Dimitree personally. They attacked a bit before dawn because Ranboo went missing. They thought we had captured him. It hurts seeing this all go down because of a few misunderstandings..." Wilbur spoke. Ranboo blinked and looked over at Wilbur. His dad... actually noticed? How odd. This feeling inside him. It made him feel uneasy. Nervous. Was it warmth? He didn't know, but he couldn't focus on that right now. It was unfamiliar and he was willing to push it down until this was all over.

"This leads to the throne room. Something told me they would be here..." Ranboo whispered as they descended down. They were at the doorway and they could hear their clashing. Tommy took the satchel from Ranboo and pulled away, making a horrible attempt to walk alone, "I got us into this mess. I will get us out of this mess." He then paused, looking back at them, "But... come with me? Please?" The two boys' worried expressions melted into smiles filled with determination. "Always," Wilbur said.

They were right in front of them. They were both beaten badly but they had these indescribable looks of hatred on their faces. Neither of them would stop until one of them died. Tommy shuddered at the sight, but stepped forward nonetheless, "Dad!" He and Ranboo yelled in unison as Tommy removed the serenity from the satchel and held it up. It glowed in the early morning sunlight.

Both of the Kings stopped abruptly, their heads shooting to look to where the voices came from.

"T-Tommy?-- Wil?"

"Ranboo!"

"Dad This whole war was a mistake! They never stole anything! This is all my fault! Fremoor has been innocent from the start!" Tommy yelled, stumbling forward. Philza shuddered. What was he doing here? What happened to him? "T-Tommy? Why are you.. How? Explain this at once!" He demanded, dropping his blade.

"Ranboo! What did they do to you?" King Dimitree yelled, "They didn't do a single thing to me! I left the palace because I was desperate to prove Fremoor's innocence!" He replied.

Tommy walked over to King Dimitree, "The Kingdom of Zariya owes you an apology bigger than words can describe... That night... when my father invited you all, I was being an irresponsible and dishonest human being. I snuck into a room I shouldn't have and took the Serenity. I did not know what I was doing. It was never my intention to cause such chaos. I didn't know what I took was the serenity. Tubbo, Ranboo, and I all knew something was wrong so we investigated together the second you all left the palace that night!" he explained, he then turned over to his father, "Dad I..." He whispered. He couldn't read Philza's expression. He couldn't process a single thing that was coming out of his son's mouth.

He stepped back in silence he then looked over to King Dimitree, a look of horror on their face. All rage and confusion vanished. It was all clear now. But what emotion was supposed to replace that? "Father please.." Wilbur pleaded, walking over to his dad. "Tommy didn't know and we assumed the worst, He knew what he did was wrong and tried to fix it regardless if it was his fault or not! He's sacrificed so much to atone for what he did!" He cried.

There was a silence. Philza then got on his knees and placed his palms on the floor, bowing to the king, "Words cannot describe the emotions I am going through right now..." He whispered, his voice cracking, "We invite you into our kingdom only to betray your trust and accuse you of a crime we had no evidence you committed. The people of Zariya are ready to accept any punishment you hold for us... but please... whatever you do... please, spare my children... spare my wife..." He pleaded. Tommy backed away, his back up against Wilbur. They both had tears cascading down their faces. They had never seen their father look so weak. So powerless. The guilt Tommy felt inside of him was indescribable.
