Ranboo walked almost mindlessly through the halls. Ancient artifact? The greatest king? The fate of humanity? What did it all mean? He couldn't wrap his head around it. It terrified him. What scared him more was that Dream had clear intentions of getting in his way of ending the war peacefully. The thought of standing up to people like his father and Dream terrified him. What was he supposed to do now? Tell Tommy and Tubbo? What would they do from there? None of them know what they're doing. The painful truth is, Dream was right. No one would ever believe him.

If he messes up once, if he tells the wrong person or keeps it to himself, it could apparently cost all of humanity. How could he even know Dream is telling the truth? One thing is for certain though, There's a chance that Dream's ancestors weren't the only ones who lied about dying with the secret. So it's almost certain someone snuck in and stole the Serenity. Maybe they didn't know the full story. Maybe they just wanted the power for themselves. Or maybe they were just like Dream... maybe they just wanted to see humanity suffer.

He had to do something about this. He didn't what exactly, but he had to get to the bottom of this and fast. There's a possibility Dream was maybe working with someone. Why else would he not go and yet be so curious and fascinated with their history?

He was fully convinced Dream was behind this, but he couldn't tell anyone until he knew what exactly he did. But why was he telling Ranboo of all people? Did he know that he was technically conspiring with Tommy and Tubbo?

.....

Ranboo paced around his room, thinking about ways this could all be connected, "Okay focus, so Zariya has an ancient artifact called a Serenity that has maintained it a prosperous kingdom, the reason they don't share it with the world is because it holds a prophecy that can very much doom us all. Doom us all as in... chaos for a thousand years. Okay yeah, this is fine..." He breathed out, trying to keep calm. So in order to end this war and stop humanity from falling into chaos, I need to... Well, we... We have to find this Serenity and return it while also proving that Fremoor legally and technically didn't do anything! Because Dream is obviously plotting something and made it very clear that he took it." He summarized, muttering the last part with a scowl.

He then groaned and glanced over to Alex who flew in almost on cue, holding a letter from who he assumed was from Tommy and Tubbo, "Great, now I have an audience..." He whispered.

He remembered a boy who came through his window, probably a few hours after he sent his first letter. He was clutching Wilbur's pigeon and he seemed to be a nervous wreck.

"Look I don't have much time but sending a letter through the bird who is loyal to someone who does not like you is a very bad idea!"

He had said, scolding him almost as if he were a small child. It was such a strange encounter but he was technically right. What scared him was how he was so aware of everything that was going on. He felt as if he were being watched.

Alex flew over to Ranboo's shoulder and handed him the letter. Once he skimmed it over, relief washed over him, knowing they were all in the same boat, "This is fine. This is all going to be just fine."

Over the next few weeks, Technoblade was continuously swamped with work. He had to constantly look over reports, and then look over enemy formation updates, then tend to the people who signed up for the war. He was one of the very few people that knew it was for sure that King Philza had plans to storm the palace. Because of this time of urgency, he was trusted with the prophecy of the Serenity and he promises to die with it.

It took him years to look for possible files of his parents who were soldiers for the war. All soldiers and guards are kept on record and any of their children have a brief description. It wasn't until he was nineteen when he finally tried to look into it. Turns out, he was actually older than Wilbur. He was three years older to be exact. His birthday was on the first of June so technically, he just turned twenty-four. It's so strange believing one thing your entire life only to be told it isn't right at all. He also found out that his parents were descendants of ancient piglins. No wonder he didn't really look his age, they physically age a bit slower than humans. He already knew he wasn't entirely human, but from ancient piglins? You don't find those types of people outside of Fremoor too often.
