Ranboo stared out into the cloudy sky from his desk, reflecting on the events from the previous night. He always liked feeling the breeze on his face as he worked but he couldn't focus on anything other than last night. He hoped it was just a terrible dream but unfortunately, it wasn't. As soon as the accusations started to become more aggressive, King Dimitree ordered Puffy to evacuate Ranboo and that he and the rest of his men would stay and try to prove their innocence.
But no one from Zariya would believe them. He didn't get the full story, but they were all lucky to leave without any casualties. The King made it very clear the war would rage on, but he wouldn't be on constant defense as he had been for years. He would start to attack and claim territory. The good news is, the war would most likely end in a couple of months. Bad news, it will come at the cost of one of their Kingdoms.
What made him angry is that even he didn't know if his people did commit a crime or not. His father never trusted him with these things and he hated it.
As if on command, Ranboo spotted a small speck in the sky, which grew larger as it approached. He made it out to be a bird. No, a... pigeon? And it was coming right towards him. That's right! The pigeon from yesterday! He had forgotten all about it!
The prince reached out to greet the bird as it landed gracefully on his forearm, "Man am I happy you're here.." he muttered with a small grin. It cocked its head and tilted it forward to give him the paper from yesterday. The prince took it and opened it as the bird flew over to rest on his shoulder.
He sighed as he looked at their dumb drawings from last night. That was probably one of the best nights ever. He never had friends or company that he's been able to just laugh and talk to for hours. He really made a connection last night.
And he'd do anything to save it. His one chance at friendship will not be ruined by a war that had nothing to do with the three of them.
Ranboo sat down and pulled a piece of paper from his study. Ranboo was only sixteen years old but he was determined to find a way to end this war. He knew how crazy it sounded but if he worked together with Tubbo and Tommy, they could solve this mystery and finally put an end to this war. A peaceful end.
He took in a deep breath and began to write.
Dearest,
'Wait no, what if they're still mad at me? Are they still under the impression that I did something?' He thought as he erased the first word.
Tubbo and Tommy,
'No.. Now that just sounds rude.'
To Prince Tubbo and Prince Tommy,
"Okay, that's good..."
I hope this letter finds you two well. I had forgotten about Prince Wilbur's pigeon and to my surprise, it did match my aura to my Kingdom somehow. But that is not why I am sending this. I am aware that you both may still be suspicious whether or not My Kingdom had committed such a crime towards your people and for that, I do not have a clear answer. It pains me to say this but I am completely clueless most of the time when it comes to matters such as these.
All I can do is assure you both that I have complete faith that my Father would never stoop so low as to take advantage of a night like that to commit what he thought was a petty crime. Whatever was stolen or lost, must have been very important to his and her Majesty. You have my condolences.
I propose we come together and figure out what truly happened that night. None of us know if it was a mistake, if my people had the audacity to commit such a thing, or if foul play happened right beneath all our noses. We must report to each other at least once a week.
