Tubbo struggled as he reached the ledge of his window, throwing his satchel along with the letter in it inside so he could focus more. He put on a leg on the sill and pushed himself inside, gasping for breath. That was probably the worst part of sneaking out. He usually came back so late so the only way to sneak back in was through his room window. But because he's supposedly all 'high and mighty', he just HAD to be given one of the rooms on one of the highest floors. He turned his head over to face Alex who was perched on his windowsill. It was almost as if it were mocking him.

"Where were you?" Tommy asked, who had been sitting on his brother's bed the entire time. Tubbo shrieked in response. How long had he been there? "T-Tommy? Wh... I... How long have you been here?" He stuttered, getting up, trying to hide his satchel. There really was no point but this is Tommy we're talking about. "I've been waiting for you for like the past hour. I'm surprised you didn't notice I was here bossman. Where were you? What were you even doing outside? All mysterious lookin'" He asked nonchalantly. Tubbo's face turned red in slight embarrassment, "I was..." He looked around for an answer, as if it would be written on the walls, "Oh right! I got a letter from Ranboo!" He exclaimed, changing the subject quickly as he dug into his bag. He pulled it out and held it in front of his brother.

Tommy's eyes widened as he snatched it to look at it closely, "Didja see him?" He asked, a little starstruck, "No actually!" He replied, "Some guy from Fremoor snuck in just to give it to me" Tubbo lied. "Did you read it? What did It say"

"I can't read Tommy."

"Oh. Right."

The prince tore it open and pulled out the folded piece of paper inside and read it out loud.

'To Prince Tubbo and Prince Tommy,'

"Oi, why did that bastard put your name first?" Tommy questioned. Tubbo rolled his eyes, "Just hurry up!"

'I hope this letter finds you two well. I had forgotten about Prince Wilbur's pigeon and to my surprise, it did match my aura to my Kingdom somehow. But that is not why I am sending this. I am aware that you both may still be suspicious whether or not My Kingdom had committed such a crime towards your people and for that, I do not have a clear answer. It pains me to say this but I am completely clueless most of the time when it comes to matters such as these.

All I can do is assure you both that I have complete faith that my Father would never stoop so low as to take advantage of a night like that to commit what he thought was a petty crime. Whatever was stolen or lost, must have been very important to his and her Majesty. You have my condolences.

I propose we come together and figure out what truly happened that night. None of us know if it was a mistake, if my people had the audacity to commit such a thing, or if foul play happened right beneath all our noses. We must report to each other at least once a week.

Meanwhile, I will try my best to get answers from my father and all of the people from my Kingdom who were present last night. I want us to put an end to this war in the most peaceful way.

-With much hope for the future, Prince Ranboo of Fremoor'

"Oh, that's right! Wilbur's pigeon! Do you think he got it back?" Tubbo questioned. Tommy's expression became sour, "I don't know and I really don't care" He scoffed. Tubbo suddenly felt really awkward at his over-aggressive response. Did something happen between them? "Uh, a-anyways... I'm glad Ranboo sent this because this really confirms that Fremoor had nothing to do with what happened last night. I think we should do it! It's perfect! We figure out what happened from our point of view, and he figures out what happened from his! We can end this before the Doomsday battle!" Tubbo exclaimed, peering over, trying his best to reread the letter.
